Wes Clark's Email Plea
Personal email | 12-22-03 | Clark For President, Inc.

Posted on 12/22/2003 10:34:19 AM PST by whereasandsoforth

My Fellow Americans,

My name is Wes Clark. I'm running for President because I love this country and want to see us fulfill our great promise as a nation. I'm running to restore leadership to the White House, to revitalize our economy, and to reclaim our role as a respected leader of the free world.

Please join my campaign today!

In the past three years, I've watched in dismay as everything we fought for has unraveled before our eyes - 3 million lost private sector jobs, rising health care costs, failing schools, and a loss of security at home and around the world. These difficult times call for bold and visionary leadership, but instead, we've been given short-sighted policies that have alienated our allies, and tax cuts that only benefit the richest Americans, those earning more than $200,000 a year.

As a military officer, a West Point economics professor, and a businessperson, I always stood up for my troops, students, employees, and their families. I fought to make sure they had access to top notch health care; that their children had first-class schools; and that they had safe and affordable housing. And I always stood up for our American values - democracy, equality, and shared sacrifice.

That is exactly the kind of leadership I will bring to the White House. But I can't get there alone. I ask you to join me today.

Please visit my website to learn about my career, my vision for America, and my detailed plans to address the challenges our nation faces. Read more about my Success Strategy to get us out of the mess in Iraq. And take a look at my Turnaround Plan for America to get our economy, health care system, environment, and schools back on track here at home.

If you can contribute, please do so today. If you can volunteer, please get involved today. But above all, please recognize the importance of the coming weeks and months. Your participation in the democratic process counts! Together we can turn America around.

Your country needs you. Please join me today.

Sincerely,

Wes Clark

This just came to my home email. How misdirected can it get? Ol'Wes must have been in a coma up until three years ago. Notice all the things he has observed in just the last three years.

And how many Serb civilians were killed by the bombing? And how many Serbs have been ethnically cleansed from Kosovo? And how many additional months did Slobbo stay in power because of the attack? And how many times did Wes almost spark WWIII with the Russians?

C'mon, Wes, that email was just too short, you have many, many additional stories to tell us.

"I've watched in dismay as everything we fought for has unraveled before our eyes."

That's yours...and the Democrats problem, Wealsey: You're fighting the wrong people. You wouldn't be watching in dismay over the last 3 years, if, during the previous 8 years, you would have done your job...when you actually had the power to do something. Why should anyone trust you as president when you were a failure as a General.

Anyone notice how he either missed or completely SPUN the issue that we are at war? ("...a loss of security...")

That, and I guess I make a lot more money than I thought - because I DID benefit from the tax cut...twice - but I didn't know I made $200,000 or more - I must be getting taxed more, because it sure seems like I'm only bringing about 30% of that in....

Poor Wes...lost in the Clinton Spin Zone...

So, this is how Wesley expects to build support for his candidacy -- by spamming private email addresses!

Talked to someone that knows him personally and served under him in a direct function. He said there was abosolutely NO WAY he would ever vote for him. All Wes Clark is about is Wes Clark and nothing else.

Did tell me that Gen. Jackson was one FINE chap though...

Didn't take long to reach the first lie. He's not been upset for 3 years if he was praising Bush in early 2003.

Further proof that the demos are the party of the non achievers. The grand old party has fallen on hard times, no longer the party of the lower classes it has become the party of the losers in life. They collectivley hate the corporations that built this country, hell, they hate America! and I hate them!

"And how many additional months did Slobbo stay in power because of the attack?"

Hey...this is a great question for those who said that without the capture of Saddam, the war in Iraq would've been a failure. While Slobo was eventually defeated, were where the media-crats with this prerequisite when it came to success in the Balkans? From what I recall (if my memory is correct), Slobo remained in power to around the first of October, 2000...which was over a year after the war ended. And even then, the prospects still existed that he might win re-election. I just don't recall success being defined in Kosovo (as in Iraq) as the capture of Slobo...despite the chips falling as they did.
