A little something to counteract the usual "undocumented worker" sob stories that the papers have been running lately.

A more appropriate term for such people is "CRIMINAL INVADERS."

That depends on what your definition of "is" is.

(Yet another shining example of the "legacy" of Slick Willie...)

As the Congressman put it,

"Clearly, one who has violated our immigration laws to remain in the United States has engaged in illegal behavior."

Since children under 16 are not allowed to work, how can you call them "undocumented workers"?

To give this context, it is an excerpt of a short letter to the editor and Smith is a member of the House Immigration Reform Caucus. This is a simple and effective way to make a political statement, considering it would presumably be read by a number of the Capital's elite. and expose the liberal PC of Washintgon's "paper of record" (as if it needed exposing). Good for Lamar Smith.

mega-dittoes - we need to resist any and all efforts to use the other terminology - they need to be corrected!

Perhaps they could be referred to as "underage undocumented workers who are just helping their parents have a better life" (or something like that).

Thanks for that additional information. I'm familiar with Lamar Smith, but I forget that not everyone is as obsessed with this subject as I am. :)

The best term is "Border Intruder" or "Suspected Border Intruder". We have no idea why the person crossed the border - to work, to release biological weapons, to fly airplanes into office towers, whatever. They may actually have "documentation", but it may have been illegally obtained or provided by some idiotic change in law that provided "amnesty" or some such crap.

...or some such crap.

Speakng of crap...

Did you read this article in the Sierra Vista Herald? E-mails Reveal Discussions On Group; Sheriff says concerns about Ranch Rescue unwarranted

It's got it all... "Ranch Rescue compound", "gun-mounted dune buggies", ".50-caliber sniper rifles with a range of up to two miles", "a million rounds of ammunition", "paramilitary organization" and "stockpiling of weaponry".

Hoo boy!

A more appropriate term would be "criminal."

Pols of both parties, including GWB, are breaking our immigration laws because to them "undocumented worker" = vote.

Much as I admire the job he's done against the sandpig terrorists, W has caught the disease of every corrupt pol who rides into D.C.:

Anyone who wants to be here should be here, legal or not.

Good link.

The main thing I would add would be Mexico paying for its citizens health care.

Isn't this just a way to be a little bit less racist?

Gee, you've only been a member since December 18, 2003 and you're already playing the race card. Illegal alien is precisely correct. Alien because they are not citizens of the United States. Illegal because they entered without a visa or any proper authorization of agents of the United States. The only people who characterize the phrase illegal alien as racist are apologists for the massive wave of criminal invasion occurring daily on the Mexican border of the United States.

When I visit other counties such as Belgium, Germany and Turkey, I find the border control agents armed with machine guns. Those countries are dead serious about controlling who goes in or out. The U.S. government just looks the other way as we are invaded daily. It is an inexcusable abrogation of their responsibility to protect U.S. citizens from foreign invasion. We pay the price daily with nearly 20 million illegals walking our streets.

These people are criminals and should be treated as such.

"Undocumented weorkers" is a word game of their accessories to these crimes.

Either our federal or state governments enforce and protect our boders and American citizens' lives and property or We the People shall.
