[history]
The Hague, Netherlands -- U.S. presidential politics can be played on any stage, and for the past two days it has unfolded behind closed doors in a courtroom in the Netherlands.
As President Bush basked in the capture of Saddam Hussein, Gen. Wesley Clark, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, has had a strangely coincidental opportunity to point to his history with another man accused of war crimes: former President Slobodan Milosevic of Yugoslavia.

I agree...Clark deserved to have is ass handed to him. My point was how dictators will inevitably use our own politicians words to jusitfy their positions...as Saddam, AQ and Al-Jazeera are now using the Democrats attacks on Bush to prop up thier Anti-American hatred. As I said, the Clark case is rather benign...the war on terrorism and the democrats rhetoric is not. However, knowing the media in this country, they will focus on the Shelton/Clark controversy.

Been trying to see if I can get a bootleg unredacted copy of Clark's testimony. So far...no luck.
- People of character don't need character references.
- People of character don't ask for someone to be a character reference - usually people will volunteer to do that.
- Of all the people, in all the world that could stand for Wes Clark, he picks a guy who didn't stand for anything and fell for everything.
amazing !

Good. I hope Shelton's comments receive lots of attention and inspire investigation. Clark deserves to be destroyed. The fact that the Clintons are his puppetmasters only makes him more detestable.

But Clinton doesn't seem to clear up the issue that Clark was fired Nor does he mention Shelton. Damning with faint praise? Perhaps not, Clinton is just a coward. The Joint Chiefs really put it to Slick to get him to fire his buddy Weasly. I wonder what they said to him.

Clinton always walks that fine line .. unless he is backed so far in a corner that he has no choice but to lie

Clinton and Clarke are war criminals who bombed and killed innocents in Serbia...and there ain't diddly anybody can do about it. Oh yea we can bitch and moan about here... Free speech and all.
Meantime, I can't help but wonder if it will take this long to convict Saddam? Maybe not, since it seems unlike in Serbia, mass graves have been uncovered in Iraq. And also unlike in Serbia, the people of Iraq will prosecute Saddam, and not some bogus international court in the Hague.
Sorta funny how this all works.

He also sought to question the legality of the 11-week NATO bombing campaign against Serbian forces in Kosovo, which is not a country but Serbia's southern province and is inhabited mostly by ethnic Albanians. The prosecution prevented him from doing so The proof is right there. This is akin to the UN bombing Washington DC to give Florida its independence. Illegal, immoral, totally without justification. The fact that Slobo could not even bring this up proves that this is nothing but a Kangaroo Court. Judge Judy is more fair than this.

"Serb nazis", say you. That label is better suited for Hitler's staunch Holocaust supporters, the Croats.
You might learn to point your finger in the proper direction by surfing the web, or perhaps you are simply spinning reality to fit your predisposed bigotry.
For your own safety, don't repeat your convoluted account of WWII with American Army Air Force flyers of that period. They might just be among those hidden by Serbs from the Gestapo despite an instant death penalty hovering over a Serb's head if they were found out.
Serb Christians were our only ally in that theatre of the world throughout WWII; a rare treasure in today's anti-America geo-political world.
Nonetheless, this mass murderer and his ghoulish spouse were clear about their loathing of any source, domestic or foreign, who respected what America used to be.
True to form, comrades Clintons paid Serbia for their American loyalty by washing away that treasure with a river of blood needlessly and purposely spilled at their direction.
Remember always, the ghoulish spouse, the lying creator of the 'vast-right-wing-conspiracy', and the 'stand-by-your-rapist-husband' wife, always boasted of being co-president.
If you're really looking for National Socialist (Nazi) sympathizers. Look to Billary. They've got more blood in their history than we have in our nation's blood banks.

June 30, 2001 - Violence Stops Yugoslavia Gay Pride "....Just the day before gay people were brutalized in the heart of Belgrade, Djindjic was in Brussels, raking in 1.25 billion dollars in aid to Yugoslavia from 15 European countries, the U.S., Canada, Japan, and other countries, and promising them that his government would respect human rights. The purse strings were loosened after Djindjic shipped Milosevic to The Hague Tribunal...."

>>>>Not with regard to stopping Serb nazis from ethnically cleansing their former territory.<<<
Look. Private property is the the foundation of the Western civilization. Nazis murdered more than 700,000 Serbs in WWII and stole their land, real estate and personal effects. What Serbs did was to regain what rightfully belonged to their families.
WWII Nazis were Croats and Muslims, not Serbs.
With Clinton's help, Croatian and Bosnian NAZIS have finally won the WWII.
It is enough to compare the population data published in the last 100 years to verify that it was SERBS who were ethnically cleansed from Bosnia, not Muslims or Croats.
In 1910, SERBS constituted more than 70% of Bosnia population. How many are there today?
Similar situation is in Croatia. If there were no WWI and WWII and 1990s war, there would be more than 2 million Serbs living in Croatia today. Today, there is less than 200,000.
You may hate Serbs to your hearts content, but you have no right to support NAZISM.

Question:"....Why is Bush doing this?" Your Answer: Daddy.
but..but...but, on post 11 you said it was:
...clandestine one world government conspirators - who continue to control America's global foreign policy...
You had me going back and forth between Bush I and the clandestine one-world conspirators when it hit me--Bush I is actually part of the conspiracy! And you chose to out him on Free Republic! Yes, its posters like you who make these Balkans threads what they are.
To: Robert Drobot
Serb Christians were our only ally in that theatre of the world throughout WWII;Wrong again, Robert. Yugoslavia surrendered to the Germans 7 months before America entered the war. Serbia itself was ruled by a Nazi quisling Prime Minister named Nedic whose Serbian Border Guard, State Guard, and Volunteer Corps fought for and alongside the Germans in WWII.
If you count supporting governments in exile and support for indigenous resistance movements, then America was allied with each of the three occupied countries in the Balkans: Greece, Albania, and Serbia.

For your own safety, don't repeat your convoluted account of WWII with American Army Air Force flyers of that period. They might just be among those hidden by Serbs from the Gestapo despite an instant death penalty hovering over a Serb's head if they were found out. And good for them--they were some of the brave people who resisted the Nazis at the risk of their lives in every occupied country from Norway and the Netherlands all the way down to Albania and Greece.

Look. Private property is the the foundation of the Western civilization. >>>
Except when said private property belongs to Muslims, in which case Chetnik Nazis think that it's the foundation of a personal fortune... at the expense of that property's present owners.
Nazis murdered more than 700,000 Serbs in WWII and stole their land, real estate and personal effects. What Serbs did was to regain what rightfully belonged to their families. >>>
Great. By that logic, Jews should invade Germany and steal their fridges.
WWII Nazis were Croats and Muslims, not Serbs. >>>
In 1992 Nazis and terrorists were Serbs. Until we stopped them.
I don't hate Serbs. I just hate Nazis. Whether they're Germans... or Serbs.
