Many Americans who happen to be Mexican also DO NOT like the decline of neighborhoods, trashy cars in they yard, increased crime, etc. I went to school with many American Mexicans and they were the MOST vocal against the illegals...

"and can live in gated, wealthy secured communities.....Even then, one has to go out into it daily. Not a real good option."

Self imposed prison sentence:) Some option!! The politicians have no will to stop this. I'm afraid the battle is already lost, and our culture will be destroyed.

Apparently this person has never seen poor people before. The only difference between this behavior and the behavior of American poor people for the last few decades is the accent. They stand around outside getting drunk, they don't clean anything, they cover the landscape in graffiti. Nothing new under the sun except some people suddenly noticed when the poor people in question weren't speaking English.

A lot of L.A. looks like tj now. It's a shame to say but it will never be the same (or better) again.

If control of our cities is what we want, we have the capability. If control of our borders is what we want we have the capability. All we have to do is make more noise than the liberal opposition, somebody will pay attention.

The solution, however, is NEVER run away in defeat. Don't like the illegals transforming the city into the land they abandoned? Take it back!! Make their lives more miserable everytime they setup one of these "open air" junk and puke markets they're so fond of. If that's the type of commerce environment they want, help them move back to Mexico, or instruct them on the right way to lease space in a flea market or strip mall. But, DO NOT just abandon the city in defeat.

Unless your city isn't very important to you.

Wait until you see what's happened in the rural areas and small towns, and quite far away from the borders, too. Suburbs might be better off than the cities and rural.

Uh, we have a place in rural, and in the burbs surrounding the big cities. There is no comparison. Never will be. At least we will never see it.

Literally hundreds of thousands, with literally millions more are pouring into the major population centers. This is a simple fact. This does not even include some other factors involving large numbers, which I don't want to bring up. I'm sure you can figure it out. Just go down to your major hospital ER for a clue.

G, it doesn't even dawn on them they need a license for a garage/yard sale...so if citizenship is irrelevant, they sure won't give a hoot about their little 'bazaar's'

My neighborhood is now filled with people that think the front yard is a parking lot, and that standing in the front yard drinking Bud Light and partying after work is OK.

Businesses that fold because of declining neighborhoods are reemerging as dollar stores, check cashing marts, taco stands, or somethingthat totally caters to Hispanics.

These sound to me to be soccer mom complaints. Add a bait shop next to the tamale stand, and you have something close to heaven.

It wasn't when I lived there back in the eighties, it was a beautiful city, and the suburbs we're even nicer. I was thinking of moving back but by the sound of things it's deteriorating quickly.

Whoa! Nothing left to the imagination in that comment!

Sounds like my brother-in-law, who referred to Phoenix as the Ash Tray of the World.

I started doing this yesterday.
I found all the email addressess of the local, and state, tv stations, newspapers, senators, and representatives. Also OReilly, Lou Dobbs and the President. I am going to get Ridge and any one else I can think of.

I started forwarding all the newspaper articles, on illegals, to all of the above. Then I forwarded it, with all of the above addressess to all my friends, to have them do the same thing. I realize that emails are not as affective as faxes, but I do not have a fax machine.

I think if a lot of people did this, we can expand our base of grassroot activists.

I figured if I did all the address gathering, any one I forwarded this email to, would not have any excuse not to forward it on. I sent out 4 news stories to each and every one them yesterday, and they will get that many today, or more. What do you think of this idea?

There are still enclaves that are pretty nice...Northern Ave. between 15th and 7th Aves., ummmm....well, that pretty much covers it. Unless you head out to the suburbs, say, Bell Rd. and 183rd Avenue, or Apache Junction, or Goodyear, or Ahwatukee.

My folks have live at 63rd Ave. and Thomas for over 30 years. At one time that was a nice area, but it's gang-land heaven right now.

Hah! I grew up in New York and outside of midtown and downtown Manhattan, I didn't see a lot of civic beauty.

For a while I lived right in the heart of Phoenix then got an apartment off of Indian School Road outside of Scottsdale. It's Tempe I heard that has really gone down hill, if true that's a shame because what's happening is totally preventable.

What do you think of this idea?

Try it. I wish you the best of luck.

I'm out of idea's. That's why our plan is to move about 100 miles away from the cities and burbs....Close enough to go there if need be, but not live there.

We've come to the final conclusion, life is just too short.

I know it doesn't occur to the "front-lawn shopkeepers", but if I owned a legitimate business, I would be pissed. The City of LA has been cracking down on businesses that do not have a business license, also restaurants must get a rating (A, B, C..) from the city. I don't know why all business owners in these neighborhoods don't call their councilman & complain that they have to pay for permits, licenses, rent, utilities... while someone next door is selling the same merchandise off their chain-link fence.

I, too, despair that the cultural/ethnic battle already _has been_ lost, at least for some portions of the country.

Other, small, isolated portions may be able to retain their "traditional" (read: white European) American culture and ethnicity. What will probably save these locales is their relative UNattractiveness to the alien hordes that are currently invading our nation.

Could the current trends be reversed? Yes. But they will not be. The political "costs" of doing so are too radical, too draconian.

For, the only way to truly reverse the damage being caused by illegals is to forcibly IDENTIFY, BRAND, and EXPEL them.

Illegals, aus!

Now isn't that line (which we have heard before) a bit too hard for most of the dear readers of this forum to swallow?

I didn't think you were ready to do that.

And this is exactly why we are doomed.

Cheers!
- John

"What do you think of this idea?"

It's a good start - only by making our anger/concern over the illegals will anything get done. Politicians all are afraid of losing the next election & if enough of us let them know that nothing short of deporting the criminals (illegals) will do to get our votes, maybe we can solve this problem.
No deportation - no justice!
