Rush shuts down DU again!
Posted on 12/15/2003 10:30:42 AM PST by ConservativeMan55
Rush is quoting posters from DU again. They're server crashed!
He was quoting about how posters thought Bush was more of a danger than Saddam!

"I think the reason they post so young is because most of them ARE young...maybe not twelve but I'd love to know the mean age over there..."Age and maturity often do not go together. Ever hear of "Adult Children"? They are grown up adults with an emotionally stunted defense system (number 1 being denial of course, blaming runs second and passive-aggression 3rd). Relying too much on "feelings" instead of "thinking", and prone to make global comparisons in their inability to deal with the small reality at hand.

1. Thank the pigboy and his minions.
I'm sure it's a bandwith-saving measure, and temporary until the DOS attacks are over.

2. I Asked on "Ask the Administrators"
Elad said they turned them off to take some of the load off the servers. They should be back on later tonight.

I think the reason they post so young is because most of them ARE young...maybe not twelve but I'd love to know the mean age over there, probably not much past legal drinking age. Ok, I held off as long as I could. Here's my favorite DUmp post.
From DU on election night 2002. Opinion Journal posted the following...
"Out in the fever swamps of the left, they're really depressed. A pitiful posting on DemocratsUnderground.com is titled
"I really need a karmic hug":
Does anyone else? Please tell me that no matter wha [sic]--we still love each other--the way the freepers [readers of the generally right-wing Free Republic Web site] never can/will. Oh please sweet Jesus please say we do. I am hurting so bad. I know I'll be better once I sober up but goddess, I really believed we'd do better than this. "

ELAD sounds like an Islamic name. It figures they would have the iSlams running DU.

I heard him today and I think it's great. One of their posts was mimicing the reporters who said the Iraq people were more interested in electricity and water faster. Can you believe this?
Geez, I'll bet a lot of people in California and Detroit are asking the same thing in their states. That theory just went up in smoke.
To: freekitty
It was a CNN reporter that said the Iraqi people were better off while Saddam was on the loose.

I'm looking for the news story now and if I find it I will ping you to it. Michael Jackson announced "seriously" that the Nation of Islam is now running his defense.

Rush is like a kid with a new toy since he discovered the DU. Looks like the DUhmmies are finally getting the notoriety they wanted so much. Somehow I don't think it's gonna help them much though. Nothing like a little exposure. ROTFLMBO!
