How soon before the Dems and the Europeans insist Saddam be put on trial at the Hague... I predict less than two hours. Let the Iraqi people have him. Exactly right....his crimes & atrocities were perpetrated against his own people & the Kurds....let them bring him to justice! Besides the Hague doesn't have a death sentence!
Those Iraqi journalists who shouted at the news conference spoke for the Iraqi people....."Death to Saddam"!

I think putting him to death is TOO good for him. Build a cage for him in downtown Bagdad and let his country men "express their feelings toward him" without killing him.ANything goes as long as it's not life threatening. He'll wish he died.

The Democrats would have let Saddam stay in power! There would have been even more mass graves. There would have been even more terrorism on American soil.

This is a great bumper sticker.
Do you know what horrible bumpersticker are selling at Democrats.com ?
Go click on the top left link.
One of the bumper stickers says: "Bush lied, thousands died, Impeach Bush".
Goes to show you how low they sank. I bet they are "deeply saddened" now.

I heard someone today say that it's a good thing they didn't let the Iraqi people at him - he might have had a Mussolini Moment!

Thanks for the ping, RC!
I've been following Omar's blog for a few weeks now and couldn't wait to see what his reaction would be. Brought tears to my eye, it did. His elation and relief, and his anger at SoDammed, shines through in his words.
I wish I could hug him back! :-)
Another blogger I've been following had this reaction....

My punishment would be to take Saddam all over the country in a heli-basket and let the people smack him around like a pinata.

First thing I did after the CENTCOM conference was send an email to the White House. I know GWB's not going to read it, but I really wanted to thank him for continuing the war on terrorism and congratulate him on this success.

At this point I cannot comment on Conspiracy Guy's whereabouts over the past 24 hours. Word has leaked out that Conspiracy Guy was present at Saddam's arrest. Any chance there is a photo?
