Mabus is taken
On the 500TH Anniversary of Michelle de Nostradame.
There maybe several Mabus's as the Anagram code goes....so too the theme..*War of Terror....or Time of Terror...which is percieved to last some 27 years?
Intersting sign Saddams capture.

Somebody on some thread, I have no idea which, said that the people in the streets were calling him a "woman" because he was in a hole, almost saying that if THAT was the way he was going to be captured -- without a fight, I guess -- he should have given up months ago.

That story you linked was so interesting, it kept me awake for hours last night, which is why I overslept this morning.
The story is yet one in thousands of links between Al Quada and Iraq, and only further confirms what most of us have always believed.

Masterful work by the greatest military force ever fielded by any nation. To borrow a line from de Toqueville, they are great because they are good.
Rest assured they didn't just stumble upon Saddam in a basement while searching for pickles and potatoes. They've been carefully tracking him for some time, methodically drawing the noose tighter and tighter until--bam!
Now for Osama (if he isn't already dead) . . . .

FU is trying desperately now to claw his way back to "pro war" stance! Shameless. Attacking Duck and Bush. Suggested Hague might be proper trial venue!
What a day! If the Pats win this afternoon it will be a perfect Sunday.

The only way I will believe Osama is still alive is if he does a live video this week commenting on Saddams capture....

I'm still short about 3 hours sleep. Thanks for bringing this to my attention:
But what will save W's butt for the election will be the massive sell off in oil futures now. I can see $27 oil in less than a month.
Yesterday, we filled up my wife's car at Costco, and regular gas was $1.49/gallon. It went down about 10 cents since Thanks Giving which is very unusual. That is the lowest price it has been on the West Coast for a long time.
We both know what happens to the American economy when oil gets down at and below $25/barrel.

Howlin, when I took the dog for his spin this morning, most of the neighborhood was still snoozing--BUT the one neighbor I encountered was someone who has a nephew who's serving in Iraq and I was delighted to give him the news. I think his reaction--WOOHOO!!!--woke up the neighborhood.

Great news! Dan Rather and Aaron Brown are sad again.

And you can bet it's just the tip of the iceberg. I hope we have the guts and will to completely drain the swamp this time.
