I'm sorry to have to report that one of our own Freepers, TrappedInLiberalHell, has passed away. His profile is HERE
I met Chris this past summer and found him to be a brilliant young man, who unfortunately carried around a lot of painful psychological troubles. He wrote few posts here, but was an active and clever noter, and a very sweet young man.

"I am so glad you hit the post button No Blue.."
Thanks Doli, much to my suprise this am i am glad too.
"Wouldn't it be nice if there were a delete button for memories?"
Yes, as long as we could do a "select all" only on the bad ones and just click "empty trash can".
But democrats would delete the 2000 election memories. So maybe it wouldnt be worth it, its still fun to feel their pain. ;o

You're welcome. Blessings to you now and the future.

Prayers lifted for Trapped and his sruviving friends and family.
"Wouldn't it be nice if there were a delete button for memories?"
I'm afraid there is no delete button, but there is something you can try....it worked for me...
Imagine putting those memories in a box...
You know the very high shelf in your closet? The one you put things on you don't need often, or at all? Those things and boxes are just there, not opened, or rarely.
Put that box of bad memories on the upper most shelf...Really, really visualize the details of doing it....It helps, truly, to move on.

somebody has to take care of my dogs and cats My dog is sometimes the only thin thread that keeps me from making bad decisions. I can't imagine him wondering for the rest of his life when daddy is coming home.

It's pretty special, & something to remember next time we have one of those not-so-great threads.
The good much outweighs the bad, IMO.

Fiona,
If you have a paypal account or credit card to create one let us know. Some would like to send you a donation to help your finances so you have one less problem right now.
Dont be shy or proud, as you know this time of year many are looking to give to some sort of charity anyway, and your cause is as worthy as any.
Its completely up to you of course.
My 2 years old is bouncing off the walls, check yall later.

"I'm going to start a wonderful tomato garden dedicated to him."
What a perfect idea, Cyborg. I've always wanted a garden, and who better to dedicate one to?

Like so many others I thought TILH's additions to the threads were valuable - insightful and/or witty. And in several he bared his soul enough to show the pain he felt.
I have felt some of the same things. I'm fortunate to have come to a "less dark" time of my life. Not carrying the burden of depression was my hope and wish for TILH, and it is my prayer for others who understand that dark, empty, heavy feeling.
I hope his family can find some solace in knowing he was a valued member of our community and he will be missed.

Interesting image & correct!
Re: profile page. Thank you.. It is still under construction so to speak. I began learning HTML here at FR and on war thread (situaition room) when I joined FR in March. Many things I don't yet know how to do.. borders/backgrounds .. actually there is just a little I do know how to do. Pictures & some text editing.

Have I got a dog for YOU!?! Big old female black lab, needs good home, lots of baths, tons of food, training, and bells on her so she's not underfoot all the time.
Answers to the name Stinkerbelle, the big black tick.
Free to a good home.

n_a_a,
Chris' death and this resulting thread are a bit of a miracle here on FR. So many of us are coming away from this with a lot more compassion and understanding about each other. I can hear Chris chuckling about some of the posts, and possibly weeping in joy at others. He was very complex, as Fiona can tell you better than I.
It just warms my heart to see him appreciated so deeply here. FReepers are the best!!

Well said, my FRiend... I hope this thread is helping many of you as much as it is helping me.
I don't really have too many words right now, except thankyou all, for your thoughtful and caring posts here.

I used to plant tomatoes and basil for my mother's cooking, baggi too (a island spanish). I thought this would be a small way of doing something. I planted a little victory garden for the 9-11 victims. Just a thought.

Oh God, I'm so sorry....
I've suffered terribly from depression. I'm on treatment for it.
It just seems like with depression all of the mind's coping abilities turn against it until the sufferer sees themselves as the cause not only of their pain, but all the pain around them. It's unbearable...
Depression is a killer as much as diabetes or cancer.
