I'm sorry to have to report that one of our own Freepers, TrappedInLiberalHell, has passed away. His profile is HERE
I met Chris this past summer and found him to be a brilliant young man, who unfortunately carried around a lot of painful psychological troubles. He wrote few posts here, but was an active and clever noter, and a very sweet young man.

Rest in peace, Chris. We were friendly and I'll miss your notes. I hope that you're at last at peace, safe in the arms of GOD.
To: KangarooJacqui
My sincere condolences on your tragic loss. My prayers are with you and Chris' loved ones.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and peace to all who love him.

I'm sorry, but since cause of death has not been stated, this leaves the reader to the conclusion that he committed suicide...even though I have to admit that due to the treasonous actions of some who have destroyed our once great country has brought the thought of "checking-out" a few times myself. I hope you aren't serious. But in case you are, I say this.
"Checking out" would just mean less of us, and more of them. Instead of going permanently silent, speak out, continue to be heard, no matter what.
Even though I am slightly abrasive on occasion, and I feel compelled to express my position in sometimes graphic negativity to get a point across, I still feel that most of the people in this country are still our brothers and sisters.
Don't feel alone, you have no more anger than many of us here.
Read through a few of my posts. You'll see my contempt for those that are attempting to destroy this country is deep and genuine.
Remember, we live on a beautiful, unique planet. Enjoy it while you can. Get away from politics once in a while if need be. Do something else to take a breather. And never forget, there are always those that are much worse off, and would give anything to be in this country and in our shoes.
Regards.....

There must be created a way to get assistance from here to Fiona.I'm in.
Eggs, can we send a little something to you and have you pass it along to Fiona?
Sort of like the Internet version of taking a casserole over to a neighbor.

This may be silly, but it's a suggestion: How about a PayPal account?

Thanks for the ping, Will. I read this earlier and was so sad to read his forum page and see how young he was. Always found his posts interesting. May he rest in peace.

I'll be an apparition of Hillary without makeup showing up at an inopportune moment. That's the great thing about FR -- it's possible to be teary-eyed with sorrow and yet laugh while reading a thread, and even take time to make a joke or two.
To: arasina
Count me in, great idea is she has a paypal account.
To: I_be_tc
You're welcome. I can't imagine what kind of depression he was going through.

Good Evening All-
Didn't know Chris personally, but always loved his awesome sense of humor. He could cut like a ninja, slice like a razor blade with that wit!
Take a look at his hiking memories in preparing for the Pacific Coast Trail with his wife, Fiona. Definitely interesting stuff.
Such sad news. Good luck on the other side, Chris...

I'm sorry for your loss. Depression is a terrible thing. In my college chorale group, the person who sat next to me and was well-liked by everyone killed himself in his room on October 27 because of it. In response, the chorale director wrote a song dedicated to him that was inspired by an epitaph he found in an English cathedral.
"You were our pride.
We dreamed great things for you.
God intervened and so the dream came true."
These words helped me in dealing with his death. I hope they help you too.
God bless you, your husband, and your family in this time of grief.

I do projectsI love a good project too. Built a few model planes and rockets this year. Geeky, I know, but I enjoy doing them very much.
Welcome to Free Republic. Let's hear more of you.

If you do show up as Hillary to scare someone, I ask four things:
1) Please don't show yourself to me.
2) At least be a dressed apparition of Hillary.
3) Only do it between sunup and sundown, but never wake the subject up from his morning sleep to see you.
4) Please don't show yourself to me.

I am truly shocked and saddened by the passing of such a brilliant thinker; his posts were some of the funniest I've read since becoming a member several years ago. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
