Dean has been caught in a lot of distortions of his own views re: Iraq, Social Security age and distortions of the other Dems positions. Remember when he had an ad that claimed he was the most anti-war of the crowd, and Kucinich took issue? He pulled that stunt about entering a tin-foil hat rumor about Bush, then explaining it off by saying he never believed it, it was just an example of the rumors.

Bottom line...Dean brought it upon himself. Anyway, if he had any moral fiber on the issue he wouldn't be associated with a group that advocated abortion, whether he was performing them or not.
