He and his brother have been doing it from their Ark. days in the late 70s.

I'm shocked! He seemed so...stable.
George is cool. Bill ruined the name.

LOL. He told the officer! What kind of criminal is he? :)

Let Me Be
Written by: G Clinton, V Lewis
Performed by: Parliament
Originally appears on: Chocolate City
Mmm, hmm, mmm hmm hmm
Let me be, mmm, hmm
Let me be
Let me have my privacy
Let me be, mmm hmm
Hush, don't speak
Now, silently
I don't want to hear your voice
I don't want to see your face
I don't want to have no choice
In my mind, I want no haze
In a chair
In a chair
In a chair by the window
Let the sky be my sky
Let the moon be my halo
Let me love you upon a canopy
Let me love you upon a flower
Let me love you upon a canopy
Let me love you by the hour
Let me be, ooh-hoo-hoo
Let me be
Let me have my privacy
Let me be, hoo-hoo-hoo-hooo
Hush, don't speak
Now silently
I don't want to hear your voice
I don't want to see your face
I don't want to have no choice
In my mind, we want no haze
In a chair
Looorrrrd, in a chair
In a chair by the window
Let the sky be my sky
Let the moon be my halo
Let me love you upon a canopy
Let me love you on a flower
Let me love you upon a canopy
Let me love you by the hour
Let me be
Said I do not care
Where I am
Please don't let the people find me
I don't want to be there
All I need, all I need, all I neeeed
Is some air, yeah
Oh, yeah, hey, hoo, yeah, ohh, ohh
Zip-dip-dee-dib-a-dooo
Yeah, ohh, yeahh
Let me let
Oh, yeahhh, oh! yeah!!
Hey, see me by that ol'Dirty funky window, no
Watching on people peepin' on me, lord
Got to get away
Said I've got to get some place
Where I can be free right now
I got to be free
Ohh

Several years ago, I got excited that George and the whole P-Funk crew were passing back through Nashville and I would get to hear them yet again (my 3rd time in 3 years.) For all who have been to a show (or 2 or 10), they are known for extended jams and will never play the same show twice.
Upon mentioning this to a friend and co-worker, she nonchalantly mentioned that George was her father, and that if I would like to go back-stage, she would take me. No one at work believed her; everyone considered it to be another of her "tall tales." But something told me she was telling the truth and this would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Boy, was I right.
George and the boys took the stage somewhere around 10 PM and were still jamming when I floated outta there at @ 2AM.
It was a surreal scene, with a rotating line-up performing a never-ending jam. Priceless.

Since when is it against the law (probable cause) to sit in the passenger seat of ones car on private property?
To: ClintonBeGone
Well, here's the mug shot -
But as far as I'm concerned George Clinton will always be "The Good Clinton".
