"I wonder what all this will do to Hillary's power in the Senate." I sense a major power struggle within the RAT Party...being PRO-Dean is sorta being ANTI-Clinton. If Dean makes a race outta this--which I sincerely doubt--he'll become a major obstacle fer the HildaBeast and her hubby to overcome between now and 2008. If I was Dean, I'd be careful who I rode in planes with...we haven't had a good Arkancide fer quite awhile.

That picture is just hillarious!
But shouldn't it read "Have you ever voted for a Democrat in the pale moonlight?"

in light of the conventional wisdom that Dean is the Dem anti-establishment guy Algore never like Clintons all that much. Especially that marxist Hillary person. Bill was just an embarrassment. It's for the good of the party, and Algore probably has time to read FR enough to know the Dems are in trouble and why. Too bad it's deja vu McGovern

Hillary's plan for Clark to stop the flood of voters moving to Dean certainly hasn't worked.

In the clinton's scheme to rule the known universe, they have decided they need a fall guy to unknowingly destroy their enemies for them. That's where Algore, AKA The Endorser comes in. He endorses, the potential candidate implodes, and the clintons leave no fingerprints. Of course, he's too stupid to realize he's just a patsy.

So it's sort of like the enemy of my enemy is my friend, huh? Whatever the reason, this will help Dean in the south, his weakest link to date You would think so, but I don't think Al has really "mended his fences". At least not here in TN. He taught a few classes, but I viewed it more as people rubber-necking than actually caring about him.

Big news. By endorsing Dean, Gore is challenging the Clintons over control of the partyAt least the Dems are consistent, they can't resist playing politics at the expense of the general good of even their own party.

Gore doesn't want Dean to win. He wants Dean to be nominated, and lose, and then he wants to pick up all of Dean's supporters and put it in a slightly more moderate package. This is Nixon's 1964 - 1968 playbook, run with absolute fidelity. This makes a lot of sense.
Which makes me question if this move by Gore would be part of Hillary's plan. After all, she's plowing the field for her own run in 2008.
Bad month for Hillary!....first Thanksgiving and now this!

I just posted on a similar thread, but I'll sort of say it again right here. What does Dean sorely lack and need to wrap up the nomination? What can Gore's endorsement provide? Southern, and more importantly, Black voters.
I think Gore is giving Hillary a little slapdown while endorsing her, shall we say, opponent, Dean. Gore makes a deal: I'll endorse you now and give you the 2000 blue votes. You name me as your VP running mate. We bring memories of Election 2000 to the forefront and keep the hate alive.
Also, Dean is now trying to change the direction of discussion from anti-WAR-Bush to anti-DOMESTIC ISSUES-Bush.

Oh, it gets even better. Some left-wing e-rag that I subscribe to (CLG News) reported it this way: MSNBC Breaking: President Al Gore will endorse Howard Dean for president.
Does this mean President Gore won't be running for reelection?
