Re:
These Time people are the kind of "journalists" who would have had no scruples touring Hitler's gas chambers when said chambers were in use imo . . and write it up as "an interesting odor, not worthy of American scrutiny" Email this suck and give him a piece of your mind !!!

That reply is offensive. This isn't politics; it's life and death for our soldiers. Time can write all the editorials they want against Bush and the war, they can endorse Dean, they can write stories about how the French were right, but to go on attacks against our own soldiers has crossed a mighty big line.
Here's my letter to them:
Editors,
Regarding your story, "TIME Exclusive: IRAQ INSURGENTS SHOW OFF FIREPOWER TO TIME", I am flabbergasted! Your people actually went on Iraqi raids against American troops? What are you thinking?! This is not journalism, this is advocacy of criminals and terrorists. You should be ashamed of yourselves! I wonder how many of your readers have family members and loved ones who were the object of these attacks?
You need to stop this at once. Regardless of the free speech or press you feel you're entitled to, this is simply wrong. This is akin to WWII-era American reporters going out on Nazi SS raids against our troops in Normandy. It wasn't done then, and it shouldn't be now.
Suffice to say, I will never knowingly purchase or use an AOL/Time Warner product. I will advocate to friends and family not to do so as well. I hope everyone reads this story and realizes just who's side you people are on. Certainly not the soldiers of the United States Army!
Sincerely,
ALAS BABYLON

The argument about the media being Rep controlled was typical. We defended against the attack publicly, but never counter attacked. We are constantly on the defense, and with media treachery, that is a losing plan. People mock Newsmax and Coulter, but they are on the offensive! Whenever we go on the offensive, people in our own party cry foul. Amen, you are so right!

Excellent!
I am emailing everyone I can find at Time Warner, again. I was very offended by the reply I got from them on the other story, but it goes to show what their agenda really is, not that we didn't already know.

"Over the past three months, TIME has interviewed dozens of insurgents and disgruntled Iraqis, attended resistance meetings and viewed videotape of attacks against coalition forces.." What would Daniel Pearl have to say about these "interviews" with terrorists?

Remember that Time-Warner's CNN news division kept quiet about torture and murder in Saddam's Iraq so that they could maintain their Baghdad news bureau.
Guess I need to return to a variation of this tagline...
