To me, it's a CHRISTMAS Card, to others--it's whatever they want it to be. I'm just happy to have received one, for whatever reason...

I'm glad you're happy. But please don't be dishonest. Calling a card a "Christmas card," when it makes no mention of Christ or Christmas, is dishonest or illiterate.

And if you say one more thing about his lack of 'courage' you deserve to be slapped upside the head. I'm betting you haven't done one thing in your life that takes half the guts this President shows on a daily basis.

Thank you SO much Vets.....for your kind words, and for your service to this great country!

When Eric signed up for the Reserves in the summer of 2001 he was still 17, so he needed our approval.

Had the former occupant of the WH still been CinC, we would not have signed, but with THIS one, we were proud to do so because we knew (and know even more now) that he cares deeply about the military, and would never send them into harms' way without just cause.

His mission is officially over next week, but he won't be home until January at the earliest, and March at the outside. I'll be trumpeting the word all over FR when the glorious day arrives when his Dad and I (and our other 3 kids) can hug him until he can't stand it any more! :o)

It doesn't matter one whit that our President and First Lady our solid Christians who live their faith. The First Couple sent a card that they don't approve of, so they are irritated and whining.

Can you imagine living such a life where these things actually bother you?? With all the REAL problems in the world, what an incredible waste of their emotional energy!

Received same card last week, and misplaced the envelope, but recall a postmark of San Antonio. Also received a beautiful 2004 Wall Calender a couple weeks back. Two items to treasure

We are lucky people indeed, to be able to spit and fume about something as inane as a Card, sent to us in the mail...

Maybe someday, the Iraqi people will also be able to enjoy the internet and saviour their Ramadan Holidays without worrying about the Baathists....they will be able to thank GWBush for it...

Sort of like using the word 'adult' in 'adult bookstore.' Using a word to cover up the reality of the situation......

People who are mature, don't have to keep telling the world that they are adults (as you apparently have a need to do......scroll back, if you don't remember what you've said), and calling people childish who don't agree with them.

You use your faux maturity as an excuse to belittle others and behave badly, and it only makes you look small.
