I got this card from the "White House" via the RNC...very nice of them!

That's you - - - I'm not agitated; I'm just pointing out that it's not a Christmas card, there's no mention of Christ or Christmas, so people shouldn't imagine that it is what it's not.

Trust me.. just turn on your TV, and you'll HEAR HIM SAY IT LOUD AND CLEAR. Already his beautiful wife has said it, LOUD AND CLEAR. He has UNASHAMEDLY proclaimed the Lords name and proclaimed his faith. Unlike any President. And he has taken much grief for it.

So, like you have already said, your beef "really" isn't with him for this, it is with the man. I asked another person who is judging him harshly. If you dislike him so much and could vote him out today... who would you vote for? Considering it would have to be a democrat.

Regardless, let people who are enjoying this HOLIDAY - and who were enjoying getting this card, just enjoy the moment. What is the harm in that?

Or, my friend.. do you honestly like to ruin happy occassions?

PS. I just checked, and one of my boxes of cards wished people a "Happy Holiday's" and another said "Season's Greetings".

I can assure you we are Christians!! I try to buy nothing but religious cards, but we send out almost 100 cards every year. 75 of my cards were religious. I know that for a fact. But when I got near the end, I ran back to get more and the store I buy from didn't have any that day. So I bought what they had. I doubt my friends will "judge" me for that.

PS. Study up on JOB!! Then imagine how comforting that scripture is to people who have suffered this last year. Lost a loved one, or a limb, or are apart. IMAGINE!!

Then remember that the epitomy of religion is FAITH!!

Then I ask you again to allow people who were ENJOYING having rec'd this card, to enjoy the moment. When you open your gifts, would you like someone to come VOMIT on them?

I'm going to just pray for those who can't just be happy for the happiness of others. Perhaps they are just isolated and lonely. I hope they are surrounded by loved ones and friends through the holidays.

Have you never considered the possibility that the very reason that George W. Bush is so hated by the Godless left is precisely BECAUSE he is such a strong Christian, and lives and leads with moral clarity that comes from his close relationship with his Savior?

George W. Bush follows Christ, Who was hated first. What he DOES is proof that he is unafraid, and being guided by the Holy Spirit. The Christmas card he sends proves nothing about his walk with the Lord.

Your irritation by this card says a whole lot more about YOU than it does about him.

Exactly. The Scripture verse chosen is poignant and meaningful, and as far from PC as anything could be.

I will join you in prayer for those who are so filled with themselves that they spit on others and their faith, and somehow fancy themselves spiritually superior.

Yes, and this year, that sweet, brave young man will not be at home with the family that loves him so very much, and it's going to be hard........

That is perhaps why I have so much less patience with those who are hung up on the trivial, manufacturing in their minds problems with our Commander in Chief, and ignoring the incredible blessings we have because of his leadership.

I thank God daily for President Bush and his Godly leadership, and am PROUD to have a son who is serving under him!
