Enough is enough...Call your local radio station that you know plays his music and tell them that you want him removed from their playlists and that you won't tune in until they do.

Sorry. Won't work. Ain't gonna happen. What you suggest will only make him more popular. We need to think of some other approach.

That's awfully hard to do. I don't know that any body anywhere in my city plays his awful noise. Certainly not MY radio stations.

In this instance, I think it's better to just ignore him. This guy has made a very good living off of pushing peoples buttons and that is exactly what he is doing in this instance. His core audience will not boycott him over this and the publicity will only fuel his record sales.

The thing that made the whole Dixie Chick thing successful is that they offended thier core fans. Sadly, most of Eminems fans probably agree with him or are indifferent.

I heard the lyrics to this song. I think generally speaking he was talking about money. Ya know, dead presidents are on dollar bills. He said he doesn't sing just for dead presidents. But whats new with Eminem. I never listen to him anyway. In fact, I never even hear him on my local station, so I can't call and complain.

LOL! I'm afraid, though, that we'd have a martyr on our hands. Perish the thought!

Sorry, but I believe you're wrong. See posts 8 and 9 for clarification.

That's only half of it. He does say he doesn't sing for "dead presidents" (i.e. money) - by the way: yeah riiigght.
The next line says that, in fact, he'd like to see "the president dead."

Sadly, most of Eminems fans probably agree with him or are indifferent. Most of enemas fans are criminal morons. I'm sure they'll be talking about this before they do the next drive-by.

I don't know anyone that listens to that crap. I guess Alaska is just behind the times.
To: Clara Lou
I agree. The folks who listen to this guy already vote democrat...that is if they even vote at all.
They could care less about a Presidential threat.
To: Rebelbase
"We as Americans" includes the lyric: "They took away my right to bear arms,"
A pro-gun track. But I guess we should assume the worst because he's...a rapper! *Gasp*
He just reversed his previous lyric. It has nothing to do with anti-Bush sentiment, nor is it a threat.
Eminem consistently pokes holes in many sacred cows of the left, and he made a stupid mistake here, but no one should take this as an anti-bush statement or threat.
If you don't know anything about him, that's on you. But he's not some lefty musician.

Best bet is to just ignore him. Talentless "singers" like him go nuts when out of the spotlight.
