Enough is enough...Call your local radio station that you know plays his music and tell them that you want him removed from their playlists and that you won't tune in until they do.

Sorry. Won't work. Ain't gonna happen. What you suggest will only make him more popular. We need to think of some other approach.

That's awfully hard to do. I don't know that any body anywhere in my city plays his awful noise. Certainly not MY radio stations.

In this instance, I think it's better to just ignore him. This guy has made a very good living off of pushing peoples buttons and that is exactly what he is doing in this instance. His core audience will not boycott him over this and the publicity will only fuel his record sales.

The thing that made the whole Dixie Chick thing successful is that they offended thier core fans. Sadly, most of Eminems fans probably agree with him or are indifferent.

I heard the lyrics to this song. I think generally speaking he was talking about money. Ya know, dead presidents are on dollar bills. He said he doesn't sing just for dead presidents. But whats new with Eminem. I never listen to him anyway. In fact, I never even hear him on my local station, so I can't call and complain.

I don't know anyone that listens to that crap. I guess Alaska is just behind the times.

Best bet is to just ignore him. Talentless "singers" like him go nuts when out of the spotlight.

In light of rapper Eminem's recent lyrics coming to light calling for the death of President BushThis is vague. Can someone post the lyrics?

Never bought a rap record. I'm boycotting Ricki Lee Jones, myself.

Who?
Seriously, the sort of radio stations that would play that sort of drivel would probably play his music even more if they thought it was ticking off patriots.

To what song does this refer?

Talk about kneejerk...
The reference to "dead presidents" is hip-hop code for cash.
This "song"?, or whatever the hell it is...is not about President Bush.

I guess things have changed, I know in 2000 he was planning to vote for Bush ("I could really use the tax cut"), he has often expressed hatred for Dick Cheney's wife and mocked the VP himself, but he has generally avoided anything negative about Bush while he has mocked Clinton in the past and to some extent, still does.

Many of you have the right idea about any boycott having consequences that won't be desirable. In this case, the future costs will not outweigh the benefits. Eminem is already having major power struggles with the other rappers. Let them destroy each other with their negativity without our involvement. Calling for an Eminem ban will only create unity within that segment of society and, while they may not vote, the media will be the first to ring the 'united against Bush' bell. Or, unAmericans Coming Together or whatever the conservative haters are calling themselves this minute.

I'll admit, I liked Eminem....and have bought CD's of his....no more; now added to boycott list.

The problem is that I don't listen to the pathetic little twit and I don't even know which station plays his music.
To: jonalvy44
Eminem is garbage and his fans are garbage collectors.
Leave him in the dumpster!
