The book signing was scheduled for 10am. We planned to meet at 9:30. I was the 1st there and the line was in the front, around the side of the entire block and around the back.

Way to go to you Austin (my birthplace) FReepers!!!!!!! We had about the same amount when the Beast from the East came out to the Bay Area in June.

I actually taped the 9PM Fox segment. We got about 2.5 seconds out of a 30 second report. Someone must have gotten the news producers to significantly cut back the segment. It showed about a half second closeup of my Barnum sign, then a shot of The Bat Lady staying warm in a long black coat holding her sign and myself with the Barnum sign and turning around my other sign from the "Clinton Legacy" side to the "Bill deserves another term" side.

The majority of folks wouldn't be able to read any of them. The footage was taken before others joined us so it only showed us 2.

I would be interested in seeing the 5PM segment because they asked numerous questions and I don't remember everything about it. Oh well, at least they gave us a lot better coverage than any of the others.

She was wearing a black pantsuit over a light blue collar. She also apparently took the time for an interview before the signing(after being 30 minutes late already) to blast President Bush for taking an hard right turn after being elected.

Hildary should feel right at home in Austin, Tx-- Its a liberal hangout.

I was there for 7 years and in my first few weeks I figured out that it was a liberal hot bed. However, I had friends in Austin who were orginally from Boston and I will never forget one of them saying that they thought the city was "so conservative." UGH!!!

Yeah. I got the report that KXAN gave you absolutely no coverage. If Bush were in town and you were a lib, you would have had the entire show on all four of the channels.
