Beginning last night, millions of Fox News Channel viewers learned that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is linked with domestic terrorism. Two new television ads produced by the Center for Consumer Freedom expose PETA for funding, condoning, and supporting arson and other forms of violence.
One of our new 30-second commercials features a young woman who talks about teaching her children to love and respect animals. But she denounces PETA's support of violence as extreme and unacceptable.
The second spot begins by exposing PETA's opposition to all medical research using animals, including efforts to find cures for leukemia, multiple sclerosis, and AIDS. It also highlights the $70,000 PETA gave to Rodney Coronado, a convicted arsonist who burned down a Michigan State University research lab. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk recently referred to Coronado as "a fine young man." Our ad shows Coronado, videotaped less than a year after his parole expired, demonstrating to student activists how to build a firebomb.
These commercials are likely to shock PETA's financial donors, many of whom are in the dark about how radical the group really is. PETA's zealots have made careers out of being (in Ingrid Newkirk's words) "total press sluts." But now, at last, there's a spotlight that the group doesn't want to occupy.

The teacher in the class room next to mine is a proud card carrying veganand a member of PETA. She was all smailes when I announced to her at the start of this school year, after just moving in next door that I too was a member of PETA and you should have seen her face when I said then....PEOPLE EATING TASTY ANIMALS and winking at her before adding..."Gotta KILL IT to GRILL IT...." Priceless! But she's really not one of the extreme whackos I have discovered. She can laugh at herself, and can take a little ummmmm ribbing from me. After all, I'm the hammer that keeps her 9th grade monsters in line. I finally found a real use for that parade ground "command" voice! LOL

Uh oh.
She may be 'soft' on you.
Some female leftist types are really starved for REAL alpha male behavior that any sign of such is seen as a 'flag' for their 'must own' gene.

No, not so much because they have a cause but that they have money and money talks, does't it. Also they are able to work together to achieve their goals, possibly all are trained to follow the leader!

When I saw the thread title, I thought, in all seriousness, "Christian Childrens Fund."

Now maybe some of the News Sluts like Alec Baldwin, Pamela Anderson, Chryssie Hynde, and 100's of others willing to take their clothes off for a few seconds of fame will think twice. Even the Dixie Chicks, had second thoughts about further destroying their reputations and decided against letting PETA use a nude photo of themselves to promote PETA. This doesn't excuse the Dixie Chicks for their treasonous words though. Now if we can get Alec Baldwin to stick to his words about President George W. Bush winning the white house and his promise to move out of the country. I'd even help him pack using trash bags.

I think a lot of people across the country would love to help him and others "pack their bags".
