[history]
President Bush with 7-year-old Terrance Martin.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Young Terrance Martin could not let President George W. Bush get away with mistakenly saying he was just 6 years old when he was really 7.
It happened in the Roosevelt Room at the White House on Tuesday when Bush signed the Adoption Promotion Act of 2003, which renews tax credits for adoptions and encourages families to find homes for more than 500,000 children in foster care.

Garbage. This is news? Let alone front page news on CNN?? WTF? They sink to a new low every hour with Reuters.

Brit Hume showed it last night - it was actually funny

Brit Hume showed the clip at the end of his show last night - it was a light-hearted moment.

I thought it was cute. Kids that age get very upset if someone gets their age wrong. I have had peds patients add the 1/2 to their age when they were being admited to the hospital.

Man oh man! Bush says six when the fella's seven??? What a moron we have leading this country!
And he mispronounced Nevada just last week, and then there was the time he said that palis need a "continuous" area of land instead of "contiguous"!!! What an embarrassment!
We definitely need Howard Dean in the W/H, especially so he can deal with "The Soviet Union" providing nuclear technology to Iran, like he said last night on Hardball.

But front page on CNN? I can understand at the end of the program, because it isn't all that important, but if CNN is running it as a lead story, methinks it just shows that they are trying to hold it against him.

Have you seen any news outlets replay Howard Dean referring to Russia as the Soviet Union numerous times on Hardball with Chrissy Matthews?

Garbage. This is news? Let alone front page news on CNN?? WTF? They sink to a new low every hour with Reuters. This is what they're reduced to.
The economy's coming around, the Iraqi insurgents have been quiet since the offensive that killed 46 of them, his speech in London went off without a hitch, the Thanksgiving visit to Baghdad was a media bonanza (robbing Hillary's thunder to boot), he has just passed a Medicare drug benefit law, and his poll numbers are on the rise.
The kid's cute as a button, Bush's response was just as cute, and it's a great photo. But they made it seem like he misspelled "potato" or something.

Well, while there is clear liberal/leftist bias in the media, we shouldn't lose our sense of humor (one of our most notable distinguising characteristics from shrill, sad sack leftsts) or be too sensitive either.
This sounds like a funny and cute story. Don't make it out to be bigger than it is.

I wouldn't have made ANY picture out of it at all. CNN and Reuters took care of that.

What they don't talk about is the absolutely graceful recovery the President made afterward, using charm wit and humor. The whole thing was shown by Britt Hume on Fox last night.

If true, President Bush should be impeached! (/sarcasm)

I went over to the site which shall not be named, trying to see their spin on this. Well, I didn't find that, but I did find this statement:
DuFreep this poll!
LOL. They can't even come up with their own verb!
