Conservative/FreeRepublic anti-boycott?Some boycotts are justifiable and some are not--who is to judge then--the people must judge for themselves. Note the recent boycott against the hateful fiction-as-fact Reagan bio was both popular and successful. This one, not being justifiable, will not be.

IGI was the PI firm that Clinton often used to investigate his enemies...it was referred to as the WH Secret Police. I think it stands for Investigative Group International and employs ex-CIA and FBI guys...and was headed by Clinton buddy, Terry Lenzner.

Hannity enjoying every moment of the attention. I hope it helps increase his listening base. When ever Democrats bring attention to something, it sky rockets!
From what I've heard, the RUSH audiance has increased in number. I'd like to see a chart.
The Mel Gibson movie about Christ will be HUGE!

IGI also employed Larry Potts, who was able to make use of his old FBI contacts. I wonder if he's still there.

Vince Foster committed suicide too! No, no, no! It was JFK who committed suicide. Vince Foster was assassinated by a gunman on the grassy knoll ;-)

Since Rush got in trouble with the drugs .. the left has been saying that Hannity was nextAhh, but Rush is back on the air, and still popular. So they have moved on too soon.
They need some activist judges to do more creative free association exercises until they can come up with some interpretation of the Constitution to shut down the free market place of ideas. Perhaps a "wall of separation between speech and state". So that the rest of the first amendment can be interpreted completely backwards.

Yeah...it seems to be quite a sleezy group. It appears that even the recently indicted Pellicano may have had some dealings with this group...as well as Palladino. From what I understand, these guys have been with Clinton since his Arkansas days when they even chased down his political opponents, there. It wouldn't surprise me if these guys are following some of these prominent conservatives right now. They do have resources.

Private investigators tend to work with trial lawyers, and trial lawyers love the Democrats.

And that was just boycotting Vichy Chicks products, not their record label.
The station manager should find the spine to tell his advertisers to keep tabs on how many calls they get (pro and con). One man does not speak for thousands without a formal press release. This is the work of brownshirt agitators.
The chill wind that Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon spoke of only blows in their direction I guess. When Susan Sarandon worked to keep Dr. Laura's tv show off the air (before a single episode had aired) this was praised by the left (Susan even got a special recognition for her efforts on the website of the organizers of the campaign to kill Dr. Laura's show).

There should be a nationally concerted effort to trash all democrats and associate them with the term LIARS.They are truly the party of nothingness. They also have been known to use methods of threats and thuggery much the same as the mafia.
To: concerned about politics
Probably most of the "boycotters" live nowhere near the radio's station range, would never buy the products in the first place, and were recruited from threads over on DU.

Having spent more than a little time in Los Alamos, I can tell you that this is not going to work. Most in this town are very Conservative to the point if a boycott was put in place - those boycotted would get more business - not less.

There should be a nationally concerted effort to trash all democrats and associate them with the term LIARS.Whenever debating with a Democrat, I refer to their party as the Social parasites that take but never give. It kills them, but they can't argue with it. It shuts them right up.
To: INSENSITIVE GUY
The Democratic Party has truly evolved into a criminal operation in the image of the Clinton's Dixie Mafia. With PI's intimidation of people, IRS audits of enemies and even physical abuse from Teamsters and union thugs, they have become a criminal organization. Wait...what am I talking about, it's always been this way; it's just getting more exposure thanks to the internet...and a so-called charasmatic leader.

I'd take Red Asner's threat seriously even if he only meant it half in jest (the other half being simple wishful thinking).
And a whole lot of FReepers are forgetting the campaign to get Michael Savage nocked off the air (that was a prank caller who boasted of his deeds on his website later).
The call screener slipped up and a lot more people over reacted to Michael's colorful ways of saying "Drop dead" or FOAD. He told the caller in several ways to "die"... choking on a sausage (this episode of his program reportedly had a cooking segment where they were eating sausages), get intestinal parasites (again cooking, the undercooked pork), and get AIDS. Only the AIDS remark caught "outrage" but I couldn't get FReepers to tell me why AIDS was a politically protected disease (some even agreed that food poisoning was a horrible way to go).
There are those on the left (like Nina Tottenberg) who's own AIDS outburts (wishing it upon Jesse Helms and his grandkids) went unnoticed by the national press (and broadcaster PBS/NPR). I could identify other situations where the left made this type of an ugly comment (with more seriousness than Michael did in his "assumed" off air outburst, radio has a 7 second delay).
Michael Savage said that he would not be the last to be taken down but that the campaign to get him was an organized campaign by the left. He did ask why more people weren't standing up for him.
