Anyone notice the lack of smiles on the Hillary side? As opposed to the sheer joy on the Bush side? One fella looks like he wanted to get as far away from her as possible and almost scowled. Jeez, she is so obvlious. She has no idea how ridiculous she is.

"Absolutely out of touch!

Any commander worth his salt won't even think of eating until all his troops are served.

Oh give her a break. She was never in the service, and her husband wasn't there to share his vast understanding of military etiquette with her.

"The core of Sen. Clinton's argument, echoed by her pet poodle, Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.), is a call for more troops for Iraq. "The Pentagon tried to make do with as few troops as possible," Clinton said, "as light a footprint as they could get away with. Now we're playing Catch-up." Sen. Reed, who voted against the war resolution, now wants to send even more troops as well."

Correct me if I am wrong, but was it not 4 divisions that retired their colors under Mr. Bill? The fact is, if we are going to keep any capability to respond elsewhere in the world, we don't have any other troops. And the Frenchies are not reliable.

But will you posters vote against her in 2008?

Of course not! We buy her act.

Seriously, this is Free Republic.

Thanks Xzins! Thank you three for showing the difference between a sincere leader and a self proclaimed one.

I think this is why these personality types are so dangerous. True leaders set standards they can never meet. So they try to lower the standards. It becomes a moral bell curve. Regression is always easier.

"Once she got there," our source maintains, "Clinton and her entourage bumped everyone in line, forcing them to wait almost an extra hour."

Says it all, doesn't it?

The pictures tell the tale...Photography rarely lies.

The Troops surrounding Bush look genuinely happy to be in his presence.

The Troops surrounding the Hildebeast looked to be no more happy than if they were out standing in a cow pasture.

>>Perhaps her handlers tried, but turned the idea down as being beneath her.

Perhaps to be one of her "yes men" handlers, they have to be as frickin' dense as the smartest woman on Earth.

Dick Morris was sayong on FNC this morning that he wished he could've been a fly on the wall when Hillie found out 43 had beaten her to Iraq. And then later when she realized that what she'd said to the troops was going to come back and bite her. Wonder if any of her aides needed medical care?

She will, indeed, run in 2008, but the way to stop her is NOT in aiming all our fire hoses directly at her.

Remember, you put out a fire by aiming at the base of the flame. This next four years must be spent more extinguishing (discrediting) her base...Hollyweird and the leftwing media!

Oh, she's as much their enemy as anyone...Thing is, they know she's a bigger ticking bomb to US than any they've got!

Poor Bill. Sounds like he didn't share anything with her. (Wouldn't you just love to do a paternity test on Chelsea?)

Anyway, taking care of your people first is NOT just a military concept. It's a basic leadership concept. She's no leader; she's an elitest.

I want her to keep this up and if the "mainstream" media wasn't so biased in favor of the clintons, it would be reported all over the world.

I really don't think there's any Clinton 'magic' as far as vote-winning is concerned. It's just that he ran against a couple lackluster candidates with Perot as the spoiler. And yes, the media worships them like sacred cows.

My vote is Bush executed the intent of this quote very well while Hitlery showed why these elitest armies we fight (Iraq, North Korea, etc) where officers are royalty and the enlisted are trash are defeated time and again.

You are partly right, but there are, as you are obviously aware, many reasons why non-Western cultures are shrinking in the rear view mirror of the West.

I recommend the excellent book, Carnage and Culture, Landmark Battles that Defined Western Power, by Victor Davis Hanson. An excellent study on why Western cultures have and will continue to win these battles.
