In fact so few U.S. military personnel volunteered to meet and sit with her, that military leaders in Baghdad had to designate enlisted personnel and junior officers to spend time with the New York senator. "Yo, Corporal Grabasst! You get first choice, latrine duty or dinner with Hillary Clinton. Right! OK, Private Schmedlap, I guess it's dinnertime for you..."

Almost immediately after landing in Iraq, she began bad-mouthing the Bush administration to the military personnelWhat a clueless, clueless, CLUELESS moron. Yes, clueless.

LOL, first they have to order soldiers to be with Hillary (no wonder those guys looked so sour in the photos) and they they had to pay protesters just like Saddam.
No wonder the democrats don't support the war in Iraq, they recognize a soul mate in Saddam.

According to one Democratic leadership aide, some protesters were being paid by the unions they belonged to to make up for lost wages because they took time off from work to help out their Democratic friends. Is that legal?

I would have refused that order; and then demanded a Court Martial instead of an Article 15.
I would have loved for the press to have gotten ahold of that one. "Military tries soldier for refusing to eat with Hitlary."

That would be like Viet vets being forced to meet Jane Fonda and pretend everything is hunky dory.

"Maybe there weren't a lot of New Yorkers in the area."
This is an insult to us New Yorkers, #1 she aint from N.Y. and even if she was we wouldn't eat with her.#2 We saw her husbands policy on how to deal with terrorism more than anybody else in this country.

While President George W. Bush was embraced warmly by the more than 600 troops he served dinner to in Baghdad on Thanksgiving, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton didn't get the same treatment. In fact so few U.S. military personnel volunteered to meet and sit with her, that military leaders in Baghdad had to designate enlisted personnel and junior officers to spend time with the New York senator.

If Clinton was aware of her seemingly unpopularity, she didn't seem to care. Almost immediately after landing in Iraq, she began bad-mouthing the Bush administration to the military personnel she met, telling them that while America supported the troops, there were questions about the Bush administration's approach.
Does Hillary think that our troops are apolitical, stupid and uninformed? They know why they are there, they have almost total access to e-mail, telephones, etc. and they can form their own opinions of how things are going, not only in Iraq but the US. Another miscalculation on her part but I really believe there is more going on in Hillary's world right now than meets the eye.

I wish we could find out which troops had to sit through Hillary's visit and pitch in to get them all a special gift ("Thanks from Freepers for what you had to go through). I'd sure drop a C-note in that cause.
