You forgot one thing:
72 extremely busy virgins.
Or in the case of the Fedayeen Saddam, virgin boys....

Before people start going off on Walt Rogers, he was one of the few good guys at CNN. He was with the Third of the Seventh as it spearheaded the assault on Baghdad. Some damn fine reporting in those days.
He's not a perfumed prince in from New York. Rogers earned his spurs.

Oceanview,
Why the sudden appearance of Feyadeen (sp) uniforms ?
It's obvious. They're NOT Feyadeen (sp), but rather Foreigners (Jihad Islamisists) trying to convince the average Irqai folk (and CNN journalists) that Saddam's "Rebellion" is alive and well (LOL).
The entire US operation looks like a classic counter-intelligence extravaganza !
First we plant (false) intel among various Jihad agents about the "high value target" convoy(s) and their travel agenda.
Second, we then allow the Jihadists to "take the bait", waiting for just enough to show-up at the scene of the crime to justify use of AC-130 Gunships and Worse to inflict extremely high enemy casualities.
Finally, we then return to the (now indentified) Jihad spies that were fed the false intel in the first place, and ask them a few questions (while they're dropping from an Apache at 5,000 feet).
Gotta love it !
Go BUSH ! Go ARMY !

All roads lead to Tehran.
Hezbollah is in Iraq now...building ties with the Shia.
Turkey has admitted to Turkish Hezbollah cells in their environs.
If Iraq is allowed free elections..then the Shia will prevail..and that would lead to Iran #2.
Clearly..the U.S. must block Irans tampering in Iraq.

yes, this is a good thought.

18 wounded and 46 killed?! Gotta love that ratio, especially as it's similar to others reported. Allah must be overstocked with virgins. Either that or the "shield of faith" ain't shiite compared to training, marksmanship, heavy ordinance and body armor.

Basically, she is saying nothing more then we have on this thread! <<< I would hope that we on FR haven't a problem keeping up with her! Basically, Rita is a bit of an airhead. I love it when she is questioning a guest: some of her questions reveal a stunning lack of depth - the "with-it" guests just sit there looking non-plussed, trying not to laugh out loud.
Well meaning and sincere....just not up to the usual FOX caliber.

Actually I wasn't being sarcastic, but maybe I should have been. I was thinking more about NATO's military offensive against Serbia where all kinds of violence was done to the Serbs by NATO, but this was just fine with Hillary and Daschle because this offensive had "international support." As soon as the United States does anything to defend our own people without broad international approval, Hillary and Daschle become deeply saddened and begin to "raise serious questions about such unilateral action." When we defend ourselves without a UN or NATO mandate, this is deeply troubling to Hillary and Daschle....perhaps even more troubling than the deaths of thousands of Americans in the embassy in Kenya, onboard the USS Cole, and on 9/11. With too many Demon-rat senators like these, America as we know it will eventually be destroyed.

This was a force of 72 bad guys....anyone know what the unit size was for the Fedyeen SaddamI don't but I doubt that a wahdah of terrorists would be this large unless we surprised them in training or a planning meeting.

With too many Demon-rat senators like these, America as we know it will eventually be destroyed. That's why we've got to continued to educate, speak out, do whatever, whenever. I think the 2000 election finally woke up many long asleep and complacent. Three Pubbie Governors this year, too. There is hope, but we must be on guard and ready.
