Guess who owns your land?, it may not be who you think it is.

The Hage case may pull the rug, floor and foundation from the government's efforts to exercise control of land that it may not own... I predict some "cult" will be incinerated in their "compound" before the Feds give up one shred of control over public lands.

Environmentalists have been trying to rid the West of cattle in agreement with the Bill Clinton philosophy of having no agriculture in the U.S. and having all our food grown in 3rd world countries. The flaw in this idea is that 3rd world countries are unable to grow and raise enough for themselves, let alone us.

Who owns the "public land"? Why, the King of course.
And don't you forget it!

So explain to me how having a temporary lease to run cattle ends up being ownership of the land? Are these ranchers getting public land without buying it?
I'm not ready to jump on their band wagon.
To: Mikey
Who owns 'public' land? By definition, you, we, us.

Well, I tried living on ‘public land’ in my RV a few years ago, but it wasn’t the ranchers who chased me off...it was the gubmint (forest service)!

Remember hearing about this while I was working in New Mexico. This isn’t someone trying to make a quick land grab, these are folks who have been working the land for generations, sometimes from before the land was part of the US.

WHO OWNS PUBLIC LAND?
I do. And everyone’s rent is due, so start sending me some checks. Hurry or I’m booting everyone out.
