In a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq, visiting New York Sen. Hillary Clinton told them that Americans back home are growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush's decision to send them into battle.

Describing two meetings with G.I.s over turkey dinners in Baghdad, Sen. Clinton told reporters later that soldiers wanted to know "how the people at home feel about what we are doing."

Clinton said she told the troops, "Americans are wholeheartedly proud of what you are doing but there are many questions at home about the (Bush) administration's policies."

She also suggested that the U.S. could eventually loose the war in Iraq, contending, "We have to exert all of our efforts militarily, but the outcome is not assured."

Despite her sour pronouncements, the former first lady insisted that the soldiers were just as glad to see her as they were President Bush, whose surprise visit less than 24-hours earlier was greeted with standing ovations.

"It's a positive for the commander-in-chief to visit troops in the field," Clinton told reporters, adding, "the troops [also] seemed to appreciate seeing myself."

Speaking from a secure location just over the Kuwaiti border, Mrs. Clinton launched one verbal salvo after another at the White House, arguing that Bush officials had been "obsessed" with getting Saddam Hussein and saying the perception blinded them to the difficulties of deposing his regime.

"The Pentagon tried to make do with as few troops as possible, as light a footprint as they could get away with," Clinton said. "Now, we're playing catchup . . . Unfortunately, I don't think they fully appreciated the conditions we would encounter."

The top Democrat also reprised her charge that the White House is being less than candid when it comes to apprising the American people of the costs of the war.

"The obstacles and problems here are much greater than the administration usually admits to," she said, adding, "Everybody has to be honest."

She's a disaster, when she is outside of a controlled environment (a studio, where her answers can be edited and sycophants to throw cotton puffs at her).

Why did you not post the author of this article? Please fix this, so I can find this article credible. I want to believe it, but if the author is unknown, I am going to be skeptical about the authenticity.

Here's another thread based on an article from the NY Daily News:

Hil hails troops in Baghdad, raps Prez

Oh, I know, and agree. I was just being a little lighthearted. It helps, in the face of such unadulterated evil.

We are the People and we are also the People who funded this trip for Hillary Clinton and I don't like my money spent derisively against my country, let alone having to pay for replacement of any seats in a government owned and operated plane.

I think that Laura Bush would trump Hillary in Iraq. One is all grace and kindness. The other is, well, SMALL.

Every time I get really down on this administration, something happens that makes me see the alternative as so much worse. The Clintons are so repulsive to me. Then I am reminded that they were in the White House for eight years. Somebody voted for them. What kind of country puts a Bill/Hillary in office???? Delusional? Self-absorbed? God help us!!!

Actually, I thought they looked rather disgusted.

Regarding no one overseas wanting to see her, I always heard that the Chinese love her, and that they believe she is the ideal role model for women everywhere.
Other than that I think she is a traitor and needs to be dealt with accordingly. I'm sure the Chinese that claim to love her would have a good solution for one of their dignitaries acting in a similiar fashion.

Does treason still exist?

Ask Senator Bonior and that other a**hole liberal, commie Senator who went over to Baghdad to talk down our country. This is maddening.

I just came across this post and admit I didn't get past the title. All I can advise is that this is from hysterical NewsMax. Don't give this any angry energy unless you read something similar in, say, the Washington Times. NewsMax has a way of twisting everything out of reality. From past experience, they will invent their sources if it serves their purpose.

I know that the current administration isn't perfect, but we all have to remember what a disaster the alternative could be. We must be diligent in making sure that these people, the Clintons, lose their power.

In a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq, visiting New York Sen. Hillary Clinton told them that Americans back home are growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush's decision to send them into battle.

I was right, she is one of the most vile creatures on earth.

Time to drag this out again

She's a swine. A vulgar little maggot. A worthless bag of filth. As they say in Texas, I'll bet she couldn't pour p!ss out of a boot with instructions on the heel.

She's a canker. A sore that won't go away. I would rather kiss a lawyer than be seen with her. She's a putrescent mass, a walking vomit. She's a spineless little worm deserving nothing but the profoundest contempt. She's a jerk, a cad, a weasel. His life is a monument to stupidity. She's a stench, a revulsion, a big suck on a sour lemon.

She's a bleating foal, a curdled staggering mutant dwarf smeared richly with the effluvia and offal accompanying her alleged birth into this world. An insensate, blinking calf, meaningful to nobody, abandoned by the puke-drooling, giggling beasts who sired her and then killed themselves in recognition of what they had done. I will never get over the embarrassment of belonging to the same species as her. She's a monster, an ogre, a malformity. I barf at the very thought of her.

She has all the appeal of a paper cut. Lepers avoid her. She's vile, worthless, less than nothing. She's a weed, a fungus, the dregs of this earth.

She's a snail-skulled little rabbit. Would that a hawk pick her up, drive its beak into her brain, and upon finding it rancid set her loose to fly briefly before spattering the ocean rocks with the frothy pink shame of her ignoble blood.

May she choke on the queasy, convulsing nausea of her own trite, foolish beliefs. She's grimy, squalid, nasty and profane. She's foul and disgusting. She's a fool, an ignoramus. Monkeys look down on her. Even sheep won't have sex with her.

She's unreservedly pathetic, starved for attention, and lost in a land that reality forgot. And what meaning does she expect her delusionally self-important statements of unknowing, inexperienced opinion have to us? What fantasy does she hold that she would believe that her tiny-fisted tantrums would have more weight than that of a leprous desert rat, spinning rabidly in a circle, waiting for the bite of the snake?

She's a waste of flesh. She's ridiculous and obnoxious. She's the moral equivalent of a leech. She's a living emptiness, a meaningless void. She's sour and senile. She's a disease, a puerile, one-handed, slack-jawed, drooling, meatslapper. On a good day she's a half-wit. She reminds me of drool.

She's deficient in all that lends character. She has the personality of wallpaper. She's dank and filthy. She's asinine and benighted. She's the source of all unpleasantness. She spreads misery and sorrow wherever she goes. She's a smarmy lagerlout git. She's a clouted boggish foot-licking twit.

She's a fiend and a coward. She's a degenerate, noxious and depraved. I feel debased just for knowing she exists. I despise everything about her, and I wish she would go away.

I cannot believe how incredibly stupid she is. I mean rock-hard stupid. Dehydrated-rock-hard stupid. Stupid, so stupid it goes way beyond the stupid we know into a whole different dimension of stupid. She's trans-stupid stupid. Meta-stupid. Stupid collapsed on itself so far that even the neutrons have collapsed. Stupid gotten so dense that no intellect can escape. Singularity stupid. Blazing hot mid-day sun on Mercury stupid. She emits more stupid in one second than our entire galaxy emits in a year. Quasar stupid. Nothing in our universe can really be that stupid. Perhaps this is some primordial fragment from the original big bang of stupid. Some pure essence of a stupid so uncontaminated by anything else as to be beyond the laws of physics that we know. I'm sorry. I can't go on. This is an epiphany of stupid for me.

I don't have enough strength left to deride her ignorant, half baked comments about unimportant trivia, or any of the rest of her drivel.
