Or any of those other Chat forum clique threads, to be honest. Or the Freepers Finest threads that for some reason are in News instead of Chat.

Welcome to the party! The Hobbit Hole stuff was started off of some obscure thread about someone who had actually built a "hobbit hole." It turned into a gathering place for all of the Lord of the Rings fans on FR, and there are A LOT of them. For some reason, I completely missed the fact that we actually hit the post limit on the third thread. Imagine that - 65,000+ posts.
