IRAQI CHILD SHOT WHILE POINTING AN AK-47 AT U.S. FORCES
AR RAMADI, Iraq Elements of the 1st Infantry Division conducted a mission in Ar Ramadi today. While on patrol, the soldiers witnessed two men with weapons running into a nearby residence. The soldiers followed the men in order to apprehend them for questioning.
Upon approaching the house, a seven-year-old child came out with an AK-47 rifle pointed at the soldiers. A soldier responded in self-defense and shot the child in the foot. The child was rushed to the nearest army medical facility for treatment and further evacuated by air to Baghdad.
This incident is currently under investigation.

What is a seven year old child doing holding an AK 47? My son who is only eleven wouldn't even be allowed to hold that kind of weapon. I'm not comfortable that he shot a GLOCK and according to my hubby, he did very well! My 14-yo daughter had her own semi-auto .22 rifle when she was six, and has been shooting my AR-15 at CMP matches since about 12-13.

Heat 'n beat?Just a bit past that. It had to do with stitch welding in a bit of an arc, like tightening the lug bolts on a tire with a combination of slow cooling and peening.
Here is my favorite link. to the days before "heat 'n beat"!!!!

That's just sick that a kid that young has an AK-47 to prance around with.. but I think the soldier shot him in the foot purposefully, just to scare the kid so he wouldn't shoot them.

Well, awhile ago on a thread now lost to history I posted my method of making coffee.
Well, a few FReepers decided to try this method of making coffee.
And now it is a FReeper Foxhole staple joke, the Brew of Doom.
*chuckle*
I honestly don't think the stuff is all that bad, but then again, I'm immune to it.
But people who are used to coffee colored scared water, and anemic coffee blends, told me that the coffee had attitude and kept them awake for awhile.
I have a vague idea that it may not be healthy for some to try my coffee..
The two perpetrators(chuckle) who tried it first are Sam and snippy.
They can warn of my particular stuff's benefits and malfactions.

If true you teach wrong! You are welcome to question my training methods at any time.
Let us review the picture.
1) Index finger, shows that she has real training.
2) No ear protection.
3) No eye protection.
4) Pointing lateral to the range.
This is a photo of my daughter POSING with an unloaded weapon not her shooting the weapon. When she shoots a weapon she is pointing down range with the proper safety equipment. Note that rule #1 stayed in effect.
Thank you for your concern.

Will it float an end connector?
Does it rot the bottom out of a Dixie cup in under 10 minutes?

Yep. Sounds like welding cast. Weld a little, and beat on it awhile, then weld a little more and beat on it. Stitch welding in about the same pattern you'd use to tighten head bolts. Here's one of my favorite
stress relieving links.

SAM said his fav ceramic mug is now permanently stained.
Me, I bleach my mug every few weeks to keep the black sludge from permanently staining the mug.
I'm not sure what will float in it, it may just dissove it.
I've had to steel wool my spoon (American Airlines stainless straight handle circa 1970's) to remove the staining and there is evidence of etching on the spoon.

His caring Mommy & Daddy taught him and taught him to hate Americans.
Then they pushed him out the door saying allah told me to tell you to go fight the infidel Americans.
allah also told us not to go outside, just you, our darling son. "Islam is a religion in which God requires you to send your son to die for him. Christianity is a faith in which God sends his son to die for you."
