Will it float an end connector?

Does it rot the bottom out of a Dixie cup in under 10 minutes?

SAM said his fav ceramic mug is now permanently stained.
Me, I bleach my mug every few weeks to keep the black sludge from permanently staining the mug.
I'm not sure what will float in it, it may just dissove it.
I've had to steel wool my spoon (American Airlines stainless straight handle circa 1970's) to remove the staining and there is evidence of etching on the spoon.
