President Bush secretly landed an hour ago and is currently eating Thanksgiving dinner at my undisclosed location. Anticipate a press release after he takes off.

I read she was going over there (I guess she thought she would upstage him - as if they'd be happy to see her)...did that even happen?

Showing the tape now Posted by Jane Eyre on Thu Nov-27-03 01:55 PM Did I hear some boos in the audience? Mostly white audience, at that. If you had any doubt that these people are not in touch with reality, the above comment should serve to show that these people are completly out of their minds!

Will you please tell the troops THANK YOU for serving? And you, too, Chief. BIG TIME.
Absolutely incredible. So, tell us all.....did he uh, go into one of the palaces? HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA

The emotion on this great man's face at being with his troops brings tears to my eyes, too. What a wonderful Thanksgiving gifts he has given us all.
Hes not like that guy that lined up those rocks in the cross shape at the beach in france

Soon Hitlery will be complaining that GW orchestrated an expensive photo-op at taypayer's expense. She can't very well do that without her own little visit being called into question. The CinC has a real reason to be there. SHE IT doesn't.

Thanks for enabling Free Republic to scoop ALL networks, ALL wire services, ALL newspapers, ALL town criers and ALL carrier pigeons, on this wonderful news. I think it has to be a record. Nearly 2 hours before the networks caught up with us. I remember when we beat them by 45 minutes once. Of course, FR was way ahead of everybody on 9/11.

Eleanor would like for us to believe that Hillary won't use her visit in campaign ads. She said this? With a straight face? Oy!

I believed him enough to turn off the movie I was watching to turn on Fox News... well I abided by his "wait a couple of hours."
When I saw this thread initially, thought to myself... Would President Bush have gone to Iraq? But Chief seemed very sure of himself.

Would you people quit cluttering up FR with DU GARBAGE!!! Thank you.

The comments on DU are astounding. Several have complained that their Thanksgiving has been ruined. They are a whiny and pitiful lot!

Wearing an exercise jacket with a 1st Armored Division patch, Bush stood in a chow line and dished out sweet potatoes and corn for Thanksgiving dinner and posed with a platter of a fresh-baked turkey.
Soldiers at the dinner spoke enthusiastically about Bush.
''He's got to win in '04. No one else can prosecute this war like he can,'' said Army Capt. John Morrison from Butler County, Pa. Said PFC1 Kyle Crittenden of Humboldt County, Calif.: ''I'm proud to serve in his Army.''
