President Bush secretly landed an hour ago and is currently eating Thanksgiving dinner at my undisclosed location. Anticipate a press release after he takes off.

POTUS served the troops...No one could be seated until Her Highness Hildabeast sat down first...What a contrast! Kept hoping that FOX would pick up on it but they never did....

The threat to President Bush is in Iraq. Do you really think that CK's announcement here on FR would have made the terrorists any more aware of where Bush was than the actual troop activities in Iraq?
Get a grip, people.

Again, your kind of casual attitude toward the President's security would be considered insane by those entrusted with the job of protecting him. It betrays a significant amount of ignorance.
Get a grip.

From Drudge:
NOT EVERYONE THRILLED, SAYS HOWARD KURTZ FRIDAY: 'Philip Taubman, Washington bureau chief of the New York Times, said that 'in this day and age there should have been a way to take more reporters. People are perfectly capable of maintaining a confidence for security reasons. It's a bad precedent." Once White House officials "decided to do a stealth trip, they bought into a whole series of things that are questionable''... Developing...
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE NEW YORK TIMES LECTURING ANYBODY ON BUYING "INTO A WHOLE SERIES OF THINGS THAT ARE QUESTIONABLE"?!!!

ChiefKujo,
Thank you so much for your service to our country. My family and I are grateful for you and the others in the military who do so much to keep America safe and free!
I hope you were able to meet our awesome President today! When you get a chance please post again and give us a full report.

When asked why the NY Times wasn't invited, the White House should answer that only the National Press was told, not Local Papers.

Oh lets see... sudden air activity over the area where the President is going to land... and suddenly a huge celebration for 2.5 hours in Baghdad. Oh, and I don't know... AF1 on the tarmac in Baghdad. Nope, just the posting of this thread let the world know what was going on. This has nothing to do with a casual attitude about his safety. But to think that CK endangered the President any by making this thread here is ridiculous.
Sounds to me like you are a little jealous that you couldn't break the news, so rip on the person who did. Not to mention completely humiliated by your initial posts.

WOW!!
I was busy in the kitchen and dining room all day, and when the last guest left, I collapsed in a chair and put FOX on. They showed a pic of Madam Hllary, then mentioned that they were ending the coverage of President Bush in Iraq. (or words to that effect) I just said HUH?? --- and made a bee-line to Fr.com.
WHAT NEWS!!!!! Can you imagine those soldiers when he walked in??? I get tears and goose bumps just thinking about it! What a morale booster for those troops!
I also went to see what Reuters had to say on it, and as you can imagine, they got their digs in whenever they could.
Primarily, it was a wonderful thing for President Bush to do, and I am so proud of him. Secondarily, it must have bugged the he** out of Hillary! HeeHee! Thirdly, I can imagine he has his detractors running amuck right now! LOL!
BTW - Mr. unknown in #16 has an anniversary tomorrow. 6 years? Must have a real low number! LOL!
