Folks, if you haven't heard, Canada's verion of Free Republic, Free Dominion, will shut down in 24 hours unless posters can come up with $200 US to keep it going.

I am flat broke this month, but if any of you reading this can help, because I know there are lots of Canadians reading this, as well as American FD lurkers and posters PLEASE give it's urgent!. Canada is in dire need of FD.

well it looks like the light stringing is off till tommorrow now ,it started pouring outside and hubby is going to play his bass gutiar in the shop.

and according to my mother all lovers of freedom,and smokers have great humors.all liberals are so busy being busybodies and angry at conservatives that they've all lost their humor .like she say's show me a liberal with a sense of humor ,come on i dare ya. i have to say ive not found one yet!lol

Principled Conservatives Step Forward!

When the chips were down and times were tough, principled conservatives stepped into the breech and saved the day. From Canada and America and beyond, those who venerate freedom and liberty came forward to defend Free Dominion's existence. We are happy to announce Free Dominion will continue for at least the next quarter.

Your generous support of Free Dominion in the past few days has enabled us to pay for three months hosting and Connie and I can now march out of Free Dominion’s front door with fiery brands to keep the wolves at bay. The Voice of Principled Conservatism will not be silenced!

Along with your financial support we have received many good ideas for future fundraising and possible ongoing revenue streams. Fundraising has never been Connie’s or my forte, and when we first started Free Dominion we didn’t know if it would become the great success that it is today, so we were unprepared for the attendant expenses that come with growth.

Thanks to our members and readers who contributed to Free Dominion, the current crisis has passed. It is our intention to find alternate funding sources so that we never come this close to disaster again.

Again, thank you to all. May your principled voices be heard throughout the land and beyond.

but it is the honest to god truth.my husband and i both spend a lot time shaking our heads whenever the dear woman pontifcates.
she will only watch CNN and then tell us what she's heard over and over like a parrot.squawk.... but we love her like the crazy aunt in the attic.

Yep ! I've enjoyed/appreciated having my digital camera ! Easy to use and I can use my PhotoDeluxe software [which I also bought on eBay - cheap too!] to fix the pics up, also !
