Folks, if you haven't heard, Canada's verion of Free Republic, Free Dominion, will shut down in 24 hours unless posters can come up with $200 US to keep it going.

I am flat broke this month, but if any of you reading this can help, because I know there are lots of Canadians reading this, as well as American FD lurkers and posters PLEASE give it's urgent!. Canada is in dire need of FD.

i was reading through these post's catching back up again and i caught the post about shopping today and i felt pretty smug. im all done and for the first time ever i did all my shopping online.
in fact ive been doing most of my shopping online this past year,i love it!
I found everything that my kids wanted for christmas without a line to stand in and the prices were real nice.

so far ive kept the postman busy earning his pay and nothings arrived damaged or been the wrong item. i love my puter!!

i became an addict this past summer buying school clothes for the kids.i could buy them name brands over 75% off the department store price.

Yep ! I bought an HP 318 digital camera that was LIKE new and with the software, the USB cable, everything necessary except 'batteries not included'. And it has worked great and was exactly as described: 'Like new'. Not a scratch and I haven't had any problems with it ...
