Former Vice President Al Gore told college students Tuesday night that the Bush administration is ``using fear as a political tool'' unworthy of the presidency.
``For the president of the United States to claim in a television ad that those who disagreed with the decision to go to war with Iraq are against attacking terrorists is a disgrace,'' said Gore, who lost the 2000 election to President Bush.
``It is a cheap and petty political tactic not worthy of the presidency. It is something you would find in a down-and-dirty sleazy campaign for city council,'' Gore added, drawing laughs from the partisan crowd at Middle Tennessee State University.

...To embellish her Speech at the Iowa Presidential Candidate Conference HILLARY had quietly gone to visit our wounded heroes at Walter Reed Hospital so's she could talk about them all and their plight on National TV.
...HILLARY's assault on BUSH with the assistance of the U.S. Military has already begun.

If anyone should know what it means to be unworthy of the presidency, it is Albert Gore.

The Clinton/Gore Administration did more to help terrorists then they did to defeat them
The Clinton/Gore Administration rolled over and WE THE PEOPLE paid the price for it

Perhaps now is a good time to remember how close Gore came to being the President. I shutter to think of the consequences and the cost in American lives.
Could the terrorists ever have imagined that their attack on America would bring many Americans out of their stupor and in to their senses?
What a shame that it took 3,000 innocent lives to do so. Thank God it was not a lot more. And thank God for President Bush for seeing to it that there are no more.

Please DO NOT accept their term of debate that this RNC's ad is a down-and-dirty sleazy campaign. It is far from being so. Actually, it shows how sleazy the Democrats are, lying about the president's speech.
"Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike?"
We should not compare this ad with the lying campaigns the Democrats used and are going to use.
Jeff, you're right on.

Projection is the polemical tool of the simplest minds, and is thus the most transparent. Gore and his opinions are not worthy of discussion, much less inclusion in a serious debate. He should return to oblivion and ignominity from whence he arose.

Ron,
Wasn't there some question as to whether Hillary had gone to Walter Reed Hospital or just claimed she had?
Was this question resolved with the answer that she had gone there?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I'm thankful that the U.S. is free thanks to you and the other vets, including my brother (USAFR) just back from 4 months in Qatar with a side trip to Iraq.

I have three points to make on this subject. - Dubya isn't doing anything in these ads that klinton didn't do (using fear as a political tool).
- Just because klinton used the same sort of warped logic, doesn't make it right.
- Regardless of which side of the aisle such propaganda comes from, it is not worth of the presidency.
I strongly supported Dubya's decision to go to war in both Afghanistan and Iraq. But, I am very concerned at how easily he slips into the Democrat mold, on social issues (ex: Prescription Drug Benefit), Constitutional issues (ex: ANTI-Patriot Act) and in the political arena (ex: these ads). To call him a Rockefeller Republican would be generous. In fact, to call him a Republican at all, is quite a stretch.

Keep running the commercial. Over and over and over and over. As each state prepares for the primary, run it there. On Super Tuesday run it everywhere. Amen.
Worth repeating.

"Secondly, Gore is the same guy who praised Bill Clinton as one of the greatest presidents in history, so his credibility on what is within the dignity of the presidency is nonexistant."
You said it!!!! I just laughed when I saw the headlines. Eat your heart out you dems.

The Libs are also saying that President Bush mentions them and there is NO MENTION of the word Democrat in that Ad But if the Democrats feel that any denunciation of unpatriotic pro-terrorist treason must be aimed at them, there has to be a reason why they think this way. If the shoe fits...

What they DO NOT like is the very clear, unmistakable, "Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike?" section. Very astute observation. This ad very subtlely repeats the "exact" words that President George W. Bush said....and not the words the DimRats keep repeating he said. I like this tactic by the RNC and hope they repeat it with the other oft-repeated lies of the RATS!

``using fear as a political tool'' unworthy of the presidencyBut... it's okay to use lawsuits to override election results you don't like?
Algore doesn't use fear, but HAS fear - of landing on an aircraft carrier. He just can't get that memory and envy out of that little tiny pin head of his.
To: PJ-Comix
Perhaps the whole reason they are complaining is to stop the Republicans and Bush from taking advantage of their edge in protecting America. They also whine and complain loudly whenever the landing on the ship and the sign behind George Bush come up. They want to cast a black shadow on the use by Republicans of this picture in Americans minds. Won't work!
To: Action-America
I think history will dispute what you said. Dubya will be proven a historic statesman. You may disagree but in American you can.
