I am frequently left wondering why America's mainstream media is so anti-American to the point of being suicidal. A memo by one of Rockefeller's staffers proved that the Democrats intended to use the Senate Intelligence Committee to try and destroy President Bush.
What kind of people put politics above their country's national security? What kind of people would deliberately put at risk the lives and liberties of their fellow citizens in order to score political points? People like Rockefeller seems to be the answer.
And what was the response of America's self-professed watchdogs, the mainstream media? They buried the story. When a recently leaked Pentagon memo established beyond a reasonable doubt a link between Saddam and bin Laden what was the media response? They spiked the story. When it refused to die Newsweek got Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball to try and discredit the memo. Fortunately they failed.
Rather than admit that a Republican president was right about destroying Saddam's murderous regime, the American media preferred to try and kill the story to the advantage of the Democrats' presidential candidates who argue that the war to destroy Saddam's evil regime was unnecessary and that troops should now be withdrawn, regardless of the consequences to national security and the welfare of Iraqi's who risked their lives by supporting American action.
But the media's treason — and that's precisely what I think it is — is nothing new. The same thing happened under Clinton.
There is no doubt that Clinton supported the transfer of sensitive technology to China that improved the accuracy of its ICBMs, the ones that are aimed at American cities. Despite Clinton's denial that China targeted the US, the CIA had conclusive proof to the contrary. This denial, like so many of his other denials, was completely without substance. And yet the media said nothing.
Despite being given detailed intelligence briefs, Clinton still approved the export of hi-tech know-how to China by Loral. That the deal may have involved classified information did not faze him one bit. What is interesting is that ahortly before Clinton approved the deal Bernard Schwarze, Loral's chairman and CEO, made the largest personal contribution to the Democratic National Committee.
Clinton got what he wanted, Beijing got what it wanted, Schwartz got what he wanted and ordinary Americans got to be targets for Chinese missiles. Guess who's got the biggest grin. I'm not suggesting that Clinton deliberately endangered his country, only that he is totally irresponsible, lacking even the most rudimentary sense of patriotism and guided only by semi-digested '60s dogma and the kind of short term gratification that he should have left behind in kindergarten. (His wife, however, is a very different kettle of fish.)
The whole squalid trail leads right back to Chinese funding for the Clintons' election campaign. Anyone who thinks the Chinese would fund anyone without getting something in exchange is definitely inhaling. The CIA and FBI have ample evidence that Beijing ran agents in the US in the guise of fund-raisers. Charlie Trie, who contributed $US640,000 to Clinton's defence fund, is unquestionably considered to be one of those agents.
It was Charlie who introduced Clinton to the Chairman of the Chinese Communist Polytech at a White House fund-raiser. This gentleman, surprise, surprise, is also known to be strongly connected with Chinese intelligence. Not that this bothered the Clintons who apparently to think everything is for sale, and still is, even national security. After all, if they had been genuinely concerned with national security they would not have ignored the intelligence briefs that the CIA gave him. (I say they because Hillary was up to her neck in it).
There is no doubt that there were serious security leaks from the Clinton White House. Equally, there is little doubt in the minds of some the sources of those leaks. Hillary Clinton took it upon herself, with her husband's support, to appoint a great many of the White House staff. Many of those appointees are known for their very strong left-wing views and their belief that the US is an unjust society that needs radical changes.
It should come as no surprise if their deep-seated hostility to their own country should have taken the form of an occasional phone call to a Chinese agent. Of course, this raises the question of why Hillary was so keen on appointing people who despise their own society. But maybe that's something she shares with them.
The important thing for now is that the so-called mainstream media spiked these stories and is still spiking stories. And this spiking amounts not to just simple lying but to lying for the enemy.
It's now clear that the media, and not just in America, have turned themselves into censors for the Democrats. Any American who thinks his media are patriotic or cares one jot about his security is seriously deluded.

That has to be the most perplexing question of our day. 9/11 proved that the enemies of the US don't really care which Americans they kill, including the people who run the alphbet news media and or a Democrat. The US is the only thing currently standing in the way of China's world dominance, no thanks to Bill or Hillary Clinton. Manchurian candidate? I used to think that was just fiction.

Dittoes! Great article, and it's funny how my 'Rat amigo always says, when I bring Clinton up for another whiff, "Oh, jeez, can't you guys get over that ancient history? [move on!] That was years and years ago! [Nothing to see here, folks.] How about Shrub and his......[Let's change the subject, quick!].....war in Iraq? [We're getting pretty good at lying about Iraq, we think we can lie about it faster than you can expose us -- oh, wait, damn, that was Jim McDougal, wasn't it?]"
I really wonder whether there are any honest people or patriots in the 'Rat Party any more.
Let's hope Old Sarge gets over his drywall headache pretty quickly. But meanwhile, Clinton's selling his office to the Chinese government and crawling for them with his humiliating, parrotlike recitation of "the three no's" (remember that performance? with the Butcher of Tienanmen beaming from the sidelines? No Chinese 'crat had ever paraded a U.S. president on a leash before) needs to be kept in the public consciousness. Particularly since She is moving in the shadows out there.
DUDE, they're called the Socialist Democrats of America. Strike it the country down, bring it up into the new world government.
