Santa Barbara, CA Cops/DA Now Working "100 Soild New Leads" in Michael Jackson Case
ABC/GMA - FOX and Friends, others

Posted on 11/25/2003 5:29:14 AM PST by MindBender26

Santa Barbara DA announces they are working "100 new solid leads" in Michael Jackson case.

When The Gloved One was arrested last week, cops asked that anyone with additional evidence in "this or other cases involving Mr. Jackson" call them. There have been at least 1000 phone calls. At least 100 are being worked as solid leads. Looks like this case of the cancer kid was the one that broke the dam.

Anyone want to guess that their are at least 10 other probable cases.... and this announcement will spur even more calls?

Also, supposedly Jackson has real $ troubles and is borrowing from Saudi prince/friend

The Smoking Gun has the deposition, post 31 has the URL though it's not hot linked.

Watch the interview he did last year. It's all in there, it's a pure confession, sure the interviewer does his best to apologize for Jacko but it's all there.

Actually, I think he's a twised pervert... and a child molester. I just happen to also have a great deal of disrespect for the U.S. tort system and the bottom-feeding extortionists that it not only permits but promotes.

If I had my way, parents wanting to sue Jackson for touching their kids during private play times would first need to make a case to a Judge for why they're not personally liable for child endangerment and neglect (which is basically what putting your child into the hands of Jackson amounts to).

You know I asked them both to read the sworn affidavit of chandler and for them to come back here and tell us what they think about it,that was over an hour ago.

So sorry, I went to lunch, I did not know that you wanted an immediate response. I did read the affidavit although I had heard this before. My point is not whether MJ is guilty or innocent but rather how all this is played out in the media prior to the arrest and to a trial. Every pondent and their mother is on the news given their 2 cents whether it is valid or invalid. And after reading the affadavit it appears to me that chandler's mother should be locked up or at the least some mental counciling. What mother would let their child sleep in the bed with a grown man. Never mind, don't answer that, it has been a couple already on cable news stating that they would.

I still say the media and some LE are totally out of control.

Can someone please explain to me so that I may understand why the DA or the prosecutor of any given case has to come out and announce cases such as Jacksons, Kobe Bryants, why was it necessary for Amber Frey to give a press conference.?

Would you give money to someone who wanted a taped statement saying they had never cheated or stolen money from you?

Jackson has Saudi connections?... Geragos really had this kid on tape before the kid was allegedly molested.

Do you really this is the first little boy Jackson did? If only 5% of stories are true, that's five little boys who's lives and dreams will be hell from now on.

Do you really not think for a moment that at least some of these stories are true?

10%?

That's 10 kids who are screwed up for life. Psychologically, child molestation is one of the worst things you can do to a child.

Out of control? What's really out of control are these "fans" who keep mobbing him for "his contributions to our culture" (barf) and that old fag hag, Elizabeth Taylor, who "knows" he is innocent.

Some.

That's 10 kids who are screwed up for life. Psychologically, child molestation is one of the worst things you can do to a child. I am well aware of that.

The fans, the media, some LE are all out of control. And as far as Liz Taylor well I want call her names, I'll leave that to you.

Just read the four page deposition and part of the actual law suit .. enough ... Obviously, if this is true ... Jackson is as guilty as sin!

It will be interesting to see what sort of defense he comes up with ..

That's the lawsuit from 10 years ago that got dropped after the huge payoff. Another intersting thing to think about is how little Jackson's external behavior has changed since then, most people would clean up their act after a near miss like that, not Jackson.

last night on Larry King, a lawyer with police sources said the d.a. was gleeful at the press conference because when they searched Neverland and Jackson's videographer's home (at the same time...and found videotapes and stills of Jackson in action with boys), they also searched Jackson's private investigator's home and seized the stack of incriminating love letters he'd written to the boy accuser. When Jackson first learned that the boy's mom had fled Neverland with her son and was getting a lawyer, he sent his investigator to their home and stole the letters. Luckily, the police were able to find them at the investigator's home. Jackson is toast.

http://www.lukeford.net/profiles/profiles/anthony_pellicano.htm

Anthony Pellicano is Hollywood's best known "security consultant." He's often called "The Celebrities' Thug."

He was arrested by police 11/21/02 for allegedly hiring a thug to intimidate Los Angeles Times journalist Anita Busch from writing on Pellicano's client Steven Seagal. (Read the FBI affidavit filed in support of the Pellicano criminal charge. Read more on Pellicano from Smoking Gun)

Pellicano hates his biggest competitor - Gavin de Becker, calling him a "f--king wimp." (Jeannette Walls, Dish, pg. 276)

Journalist Alex Constantine writes: "Pellicano has more mob connections than J. Edgar Hoover."

Born Anthony Joseph Pellican Jr, the grandson of Sicilian immigrants, in 1944 in a working class suburb of Chicago, Pellicano grew up on the streets. "I could have been a criminal just as easily." (Dish, pg. 276)

"Kicked out of high school because he was "too interested in being a tough guy," he acquired discipline and a diploma in the Army Signal Corps. In those days he was Tony Pellican -- his grandfather had dropped the O when the family left Sicily. By the time he finished his stint as an Army cryptographer, he had changed his surname back to Pellicano, in honor of his heritage, he said." ("Streetwise Gumshoe to the Stars," by Shawn Hubler and James Bates, Los Angeles Times, September 11, 1993)

Raised by his mother, Anthony dropped out of high school. He got a GED in the army signal corp before joining the Spiegel catalogue company "skip tracing" customers who didn't pay their bills.

In 1969, he set up his own business as a private detective. He found several publicized missing persons and became a celebrity in Chicago. He worked for the government. He loved publicity. He "drove a huge Lincoln Continental, hung Samurai swords in his office, and sealed his letters with monogrammed wax." (Dish, pg. 276)

In 1974, Pellicano declared bankruptcy. His filing revealed he'd borrowed $30,000 from Paul "The Waiter" de Lucia, the son of a reputed mobster. "Paul de Lucia is my daughter's godfather," Pellicano said. "He's just like any other guy in the neighborhood." (Dish)

Pellicano had to resign his position on the Illinois Law Enforcement Commission.

In 1977, Pellicano gained fame in what his detractors called dishonest. He purported to have found the body of Elizabeth Taylor's third husband, Mike Todd. It had been stolen from a Chicago cemetary.

Bringing along a camera crew from a local news station, Pellicano dramatically walked seventy-five yards south of the excavated grave, reached around under some leaves and branches, and by jove, he found a plastic bag of Todd's remains. Pellicano's rivals claimed he'd staged the entire episode for publicity. (Jeanette Walls, Dish, pg. 276-277)

Lt. Joseph Byrnes of the Forest Park, Illinois, police told journalist John Connolly: "Seven patrolmen and I, walking shoulder to shoulder, searched every inch of that small cemetery, and we found nothing. The very next day, Pellicano makes a big deal of finding the remains in a spot we had thoroughly checked." (Los Angeles magazine, 2/94)

Taylor introduced Pellicano to her Hollywood friends. Criminal attorney Howard Weitzman hired him. The two successfully defended John DeLorean from cocaine trafficking charges.

In 1983, Pellicano moved to Los Angeles, setting up an office on Sunset Blvd (now at 9200 Sunset Blvd according to his website www.pellicano.com). He was coached by Fred Otash, the private investigator for the notorious 1950s gossip rag Confidential. (Dish, pg. 277

As an Episcopalian, I can guarantee you that your comment has been making the email rounds in a little different format.

Michael Jackson's new career step will be as follows:

1. Go to fasttrack divinity school to become a
2. Priest Pervert and get on the fast track program to become a
3. Bishop Pervert!

The people that were on CNN are behind on the news. You may want to tune in to Fox News (Fair and Balance channel)for the most current revelations of this saga.

Jackson Lawyer Fumes Over Secret Taping

By LINDA DEUTSCH, AP Special Correspondent

LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson's attorney vowed to "land like a ton of bricks" on anyone who attacks the singer and charged that the molestation allegations against him were motivated by money, saying Jackson "is not going to be a pinata."

"If anybody doesn't think based upon what's happened so far that the true motivation of these charges and these allegations is anything but money and the seeking of money, is living in their own Neverland," attorney Mark Geragos said, referring to the singer's storybook playland.

Geragos' pledge to mount a vigorous defense against those who damage Jackson's reputation followed revelations that he and the entertainer were secretly videotaped while flying on a private jet to Santa Barbara last week for Jackson's surrender.

Geragos said he obtained a temporary court order barring anyone connected to the airline from showing the tapes.

"Michael Jackson is not going to be abused," Geragos said. "Michael Jackson is not going to be slammed, is not going to be a pinata."

Meanwhile, the Santa Barbara County district attorney pushed back the anticipated filing of molestation charges against Jackson to mid-December.

The delay will allow development of a Web site for public posting of court-related information in the case, District Attorney Thomas W. Sneddon said.

Sneddon had told a Nov. 19 news conference that charges would be filed "in a very short period of time." By week's end he announced that the charges would not be filed until after the Thanksgiving holiday.
