Jackson has Saudi connections? Wonder who else has been sleeping at Neverland? And what's with Geragos' involvement before criminal charges were announced? Geragos really had this kid on tape before the kid was allegedly molested.

Police have announced 100 new leads. Translation: 100 other pathetic blood suckers and their lawyers have stepped forward looking to make a few bucks.
To: Camerican
Actually, no.
There will be some money seeking liars among them, but some of these leads will be solid. Michael has repeatedly displayed the behavior that demonstrates he is inclined to this type of molestation.
There will be more real cases, many more. He will cop plea or try insanity (diminished capacity) defense; the "I just couldn't help myself... I just couldn't stop" defense.

"And what's with Geragos' involvement before criminal charges were announced?"
Probably has to do w/ the mother of the kid going to attorney Larry Feldman, the same attorney who brokered the $20 million payoff for the alleged molestation in 1993. My understanding is that she went to Feldman before she went to the police. Some reports say that Geragos has been on the case since February & that MJ has known since Feb. that there was a possibility of criminal charges. My impression is that a payoff deal blew up.
The most interesting aspect of this (to me) is the behind the scenes maneuvering that has gone on. We haven't heard much about it--yet.

I wouldn't mind all the coverage if they could find some more 'rat memos in 'Neverland'.

Tasteless joke heard on talk radio:
"I hear Michael Jackson's no good at math."
"How come?"
"They asked him how many times 12 went into 45 and he says zero."

To settle a civil suit and avoid criminal prosecution, Jackson paid a reported $20 million to the family of another boy who alleged that Jackon had sexually molested him. And Jackson has openly stated that sleeping with boys is a wonderful expression of love.
Given that, do you seriously believe that Jackson has not engaged in child molestation? Even if the people bringing new charges are motivated by financial reasons, isn't it in the public interest for child molesters to be removed from society?

Wait. . .I just rememembered a repressed memory!!! Michael Jackson taught me to fondle myself. . .for the last twenty years, I have been walking around my room in the nude grabbing my crotch and shouting, "shamoan". . .Oh My God it was him. . .THAT MONSTER!!"
I WANT MY MONEY. . .NOW!!!!

So you have already convicted him ... Michael is an eccentric, that is for certain, but then so was Howard Hughes and a few others. This whole thing smells of a vendictive sherriff and a gready public.
There will be more real cases, many more. He will cop plea or try insanity (diminished capacity) defense; the "I just couldn't help myself... I just couldn't stop" defense. Man I think Michael is one weird dude, but this guilty until proven innocent track, which is all over the media as well, is more distasteful than 100 ecentric Michaels.

To settle a civil suit and avoid criminal prosecution, Jackson paid a reported $20 million to the family of another boy who alleged that Jackon had sexually molested him. Which may prove something and may not ... the fact that a family could have done a whole lot more PR damage than $20M to Michael because he let them get too close is a good reason to shut them off and pay them money as well.
I tend to agree that it is suspicious and deserves further evaluation but I wish the that the authorities and press would do less "guilty, guilty" claiming before they have all the facts. This is contrary to what our country is all about.
And Jackson has openly stated that sleeping with boys is a wonderful expression of love.
To be accurate, he actually said: "Why can't you share your bed? The most loving thing to do, is to share your bed with someone." Small difference, but still important.
Do I think he's guilty? I don't know. Is he wierd? yes, is he excentric? yes, is he gullible, and a target for people that want to take advantage of him? a double yes.
By the way, I believe pedophilics should be locked up for a long time, I don't own any of his albums nor do I even care for his music and I shake my head everytime I see him on TV but I still don't like to see people taken advantage of. It would be a shame to ruin this man's career over some false charges by people that were simply 'bounty hunting'.
