Here's a sad commentary on our Nation.......when the horrors hit our Nation on 9-11, many people across the fruited plains were humbled by these events and turned to face their God. Churches reported record attendance in the weeks to follow. This Nation exhibited great patriotism, the likes to which I have never seen. We all stood United against Evil forces. Many turned and sought a greater power than themselves. We were, for a brief time anyway, brothers and sisters united in a common cause. ........BUT......

BUT, it was only for a season. Church attendance soon diminished to it's origins, Patriotism faded, brotherhood vanished, and soon we were all right back to our jaded and self-centered lifestyles. Sadly, the horrors of 9-11 only resonated with those already a Christian.

So, if 9-11 was indeed the partial removal of God's protective hand on this Nation and this is the response by it's people.......well folks, it's only a matter of time before this Nation faces an even greater horror, something unimaginable. Spirtual speaking, this Nation is sleepwalking and it's very scary to comprehend the wake up call that will be coming.

The Word of [El Elyon] Lord Almighty God Most High who created the Heavens and the Earth and the whole Universe [Cosmos] and possesses them and sustains them by His Power, is Might and His Glory. Written by the Holy Spirit of God through His covenant children of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob [Israel] primarily to Israel and concerning Israel. The Law and the Prophets; the history and poetry; even the New Covenant [Testament].

Many hundreds of prophesies fulfilled down to the very last and smallest detail. Many more prophesies yet to be fulfilled concerning His covenant people Israel.

Consider the mislabeled coming "Battle of Armageddon". It is not the Battle of Armageddon, but the Battle For Jerusalem. Armageddon is just a staging area.

Since 1967 Jerusalem is now back under control of the Israelites. The time for Jerusalem to be trodden under the feet of the Gentiles is now over.
There are those that are calling for a "Palestinian State" with Jerusalem divided. This will not happen. Among those calling for this Palestinian State and division is the "Quartet" made up of Russia, The European Union, The United Nations and non other than our United States Department of State. Included is even our beloved President...a Christian that should know better.

Our President calls the religion of "spirit of anti-Christ that is now come into the world" better known as Islam, "the religion of peace" and he and our government even support it by funding the Palestinians. By the way, "anti-Christ" means "to replace Christ" more than it means "to be against Christ". That describes Islam to perfectly.

The nations will gather together to make war against Jerusalem. Will our nation be in it with "the Quartet"? Or will we fight along side Israel when push really comes to shove? Unfortunately, the Bible focuses it's prophesies on Israel and not on the United States. I don't have the answer to that question.

Almighty God Himself said: "I Am the Lord, I change not" and Paul said "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever".
First come the warnings: floods, drought, tornadoes, hurricanes, pestilence and fires. God may not directly do these things, but as in the case of Job, He has created the destroyer to destroy. Is God evil or unjust? Never! On the other hand, will God let His Will and plans be thwarted or even frustrated? No again!

The question then is: do we heed the warnings or do we continue on in our sin [meaning missing the mark or bull's-eye of the target] and the warnings get more severe to the point of all-out judgement? Or, will we humble ourselves pray and repent and seek God's face and turn from our wicked ways, so that He will hear from Heaven and forgive us and heal our land?
I don't know the answer to that question either

We now have a choice: "life or death, blessing or cursing". Will we declare as Joshua "as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord"?

We as a nation The United States of America may end up as did the others nations that made up the statue of Daniel: Babylonian Empire destroyed and gone; The Medo-Persian Empire defeated and destroyed; The Greek Empire defeated and destroyed and The Roman Empire defeated and gone, but for some remnants of which we are made up from...

We have a choice. I pray that it is the right one, because when the salt has lost it's saltiness, it is good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under the feet of men.

Leykis used to be on in my area years ago. At that time he was a liberal, a creep certainly, but nothing like the shock jock he has become now. He didn't last here in the more conservative Central Valley of California, so I suppose his ratings were the driving force behind his advancing pornography type show. Without that he wouldn't exist I bet, as most liberal talk shows do not.

I understand 60 minutes did a piece last night on the growing porno industry and how much money is in it and that even names like Time Warner are part of it. We have taken the slippery slope into the pit in this nation that is for sure. Another winner Arthur.

Evil was, is, and will always be with us until His return. What's troubling is when it is sanctioned by the State as is the current situtation in the U.S.. I enjoy your well thought out pieces, but please, enjoy this holiday we are still very blessed.
