[history]
November 23, 2003 -- Democratic presidential hopeful Howard Dean yesterday shot back at insinuations he was a draft dodger, saying a high school back injury was serious enough to keep him out of military service but not severe enough to make him miss out on a normal life. Armed with X-rays and a letter from his physician, Dean said he took a military physical in 1970, only to be classified as ineligible to serve, the candidate said.

"Like many Americans at that time, I was opposed to the war," said Dean, a former Vermont governor and a physician. "However . . . I fulfilled my obligation and I told the truth."
And then I went skiing and some other stuff.

Funny why nothing was said about how much he enjoyed his time celebrating the news of his denial to serve in the Military as he spent the next 8 months Sking in Colorado while he tended to that severe back injury ?

No problem here...
The Democrats have a history of electing a Draft Dodgers (Clinton) and a Draft Dodger forgiver (Carter) to the Presidency.

The Democrats have a history of electing a Draft Dodgers (Clinton) and a Draft Dodger forgiver (Carter) to the Presidency. The Republicans limit their draft dodgers to Vice-President, Speaker of the House, Senate Majority Leader, House Majority Leader, things like that.

Yeah, he had a back problem all right, seems his backbone had the consistentsy of a jelly fish, and a huge yellow stripe running the entire legnth of his back. Typical qualitiesfor the demoncraps. He probably shortened his real name from Deaneaux, to hide his "surrender monkey" quality also!!

The Pink Dolphin looks almost like the gray dolphin, but they have differences. It measures 2.5 to 3 meters long. Although males are generally larger. The color of its body is pale pink. Instead of having a dorsal fin like the gray dolphin, it has a hump on its back. The Pink Dolphin's tale is bigger and it has 2 flippers that look like big leaves. The Pink Dolphin's neck is kind of long and his head has a little hump in the forehead. His beak is long and has tiny hairs on top. This animal has tiny eyes. The Pink Dolphin can turn its head 180 degrees, all the way around since it has an unfused vertebrae. It weighs approximately 90 kilograms. The Pink Dolphin got its amazing pink color from the kind of water it lives in, and the kind of food it eats.
Also, I thought that all of our vertabrae were unfused. How else could our back bend? Don't people have surgery to "fuse" vertabrae when they have disk problems?

Armed with X-rays and a letter from his physician, Dean said he took a military physical in 1970, only to be classified as ineligible to serve, the candidate said. He went to the physical with no intention of serving. If he didn't bring the X-Rays and a note from his doctor, he would have been drafted.

Why is Dean apologizing? This should endear him even more to his base.
