Banning Gun Shows Illegal transfers and the sales of assault weapons and submachine guns is a common eventReally? PROVE IT!!
Why hasn't the media done an expose' on it? "Guns are so easy to get at gun shows that our undercover reports purchased ALL of these weapons".....
They don't, because THEY CAN'T

The cc list tells me something is wrong with this. But hey if it scares some fence sitter to kick their congresscritter in the balls regarding the AWB and any further seditious attempts to kill our RKBA then I say .....kewl !

This is an outrage! I've had it with this scum. Not even Hitler had such a comprehensive plan to enslave people. We should get this memo to conservative websites and talk show hosts who can air this out and pin it squarely on the lapels of the Democrats like a stinking albatross.

It may be bogus but I can assure you that every item in this memo would delight everyone on the receiving list. Who can doubt that these are the exact 'wish list' of the gun grabbers if there were no one to stand in their way?
I'd even take it a step further and say that their ultimate wish is for all firearms and ammo to be completely illegal except for military, police, and of course for special licensed permit holders like themselves and their bodyguards.

It'll be a cold day in Hell, before I'll give up any of my Constitutional Rights! I wonder if these anti-gun Nazis even care that they'll be throwing the country into another bloody civil war?
To: boris
Could be a fabrication, except the line-item agenda is realistic, not smoke-and-mirrors.
On some points they push the edge a bit: licensing/restrictions on collections, fees for ranges, etc.--but I recall that NRA was quite exercised about the possibility of ANOTHER tax on .22LR--it had to come from somewhere.

Right now the proposed Arsenal licenses which Senator Fienstien should be pushing for, requires an "Arsenal License" for those people who feel they need more than 20 guns and 1000 rounds of ammunition. Cripes, my truck is an arsenal when we go to the range!
We feel that numer is too generous, due to the fact that any number of guns constitutes a grave threat to the safety of the community, we suggest strongly that this license limit be reduced to possession greater than 5 guns and 250 rounds of ammuntion.
Under these rules, I could be a walking arsenal!
Interesting how they are willing to walk all over the 1st and the 4th Ammendment to kill the 2nd.
I'm thinking this memo could be legit, it seems to capture the essense of the early 90's, at least until Newt and Rush handed them their asses in November '94.

This memo has never been shown to be either true or false. What's interesting, however, is that HCI does seem to be following the basic thrust of the memo. Much of what's in the piece was later proposed by HCI or their proxies. If it wasn't written by Sarah's minions, it certainly did a good job of guessing where they'd be going in the years that followed its release.

Yep. all the folks who say they aren't after mine--I don't own one of those...better wake up and smell the coffee.
Keep an eye on the media.
The press has been inexorably demonizing firearms, shooters, and even rural culture. They have systematically painted the most likely rural firearm owning groups as wacko hillbilly worshipers of some twisted Christianity cum neo-nazidom, bent on violence and mayhem.
Not so unusual that they have twisted things inside out about 'flyover country', but it sure plays hell with the tourist trade.

When this first came out, it was rumored that it was the reslut of an HCI internal "brainstorming" session conducted in the warm afterglow of the Clintons' having gotten control of the Government, and that it had been "pilfered" from an HCI computer.
I don't think it's ever been authenticated either. But the key to that is the recipient list. The trail is somewhat cold, of course, but it would still be possible to contact the recipients and by asking them all an identical set of questions, probably arrive at a conclusion.

satire - 1 : a literary work holding up human vices and follies to ridicule or scorn 2 : trenchant wit, irony, or sarcasm used to expose and discredit vice or folly
The scorn seems to be flowing plenty.
Pretty funny how useful satire can be. Sometimes the irony and reality of it all amuses me.
