"If people reject the rules of our Creator, He isn't one to stick around to beg 'n plea for their acceptance. And He certainly will not mollify, amend, or change His ways."

Actually He does. Perhaps He doesn't beg, but He certainly pleads. And He gives us time that we don't deserve. But the time will run out.

He'll send a prophet to Ninevah, renowned for it's wickedness, rather than destroy them. He sends warnings and will send more. Even the terrible judgements in the book of revelations are designed to try to get people to repent of their sins. But many won't.

He suffers repeated rejection, but He doesn't give up, not yet. He won't force. It must be our choice. And at some point, He knows we have made our choice and there will be no breaking through our darkness.

With others, it was part of Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, replacing worship of God with worship of government to achieve 'utopia'.

This is Hillary Clinton's MO, something she started learning as a young girl from an "enlightened" youth "pastor" in her beloved Methodist Church, later reinforced by her mentors in College.

This is fantastic Arthur, well thought out, well written, and frighteningly true.

YOU must ask yourself why "YOUR" GOD.....is pictured, by you, as running away.

Extremely well stated. Like it or not, the same Puritans who today have become objects of ridicule and scorn influenced the thinking that gave us the free republic in which we live. Is the God worshipped today according to contemporary whims and mores - the God frequently depicted as begging people to believe in Him - the same as the Sovereign Creator, Redeemer and Judge worshipped 250 years ago?

We do have a solution:

2 Chronicles 7:13-15

13. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain,
or if I command the locusts to devour the land,
or if I send pestilence among my people;

14. If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

15. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto
the prayer that is made in this place.

Thank you for your post, you have hit the nail on the head.

We used to be a nation of Christians praying and obeying God, now we are so much mud. Just wandering around with no anchor to hold us fast to the truth.
Thank you for your post , and God Bless you..

This is why we Americans must continue to fast and pray for our nation.

...POEM of/for God.......

Seen in a More Positive Glow

though
(of course)
IRONY IS DEAD!

killed in the Culchaw wars
while talking of Class Consciousness
(....in a Post-Modernistic sense!)

but, maybe "any-body-at-all" will do
who knows the TRUTH
and to IT remains true

completely and fully
and has a Faith
in "HIMSELF"
(and not just in "some creed")

I know this is surely "heresy"
("X", or "Y", or, maybe "Z")

and WE should just sit back...
...AND,,,,, LOOK!!!

there's PAT,.....and JERRY.....
and RUSH....and O'REILLY.......
and HANITTY!!

giving US our "ditto"
and thusly setting US "free"
from all OUR sacred responsibilities

but:

so....
Come let's talk about IT
...while walkin' down that
Lonesome Road!

You could take it back further than 30 years, which marks duration of abortionism in the United States. Look at atheistic cultures - China, the USSR - and pantheistic ones - Nazi Germany. All believed man was merely some sort of animal, and while the former believed (and believe) in the survival of society as man's chief and highest end, the Nazis believed and tried to implement survival of favored races. Both systems are evil and based on a hatred of God, Christianity, and their implications. There is support for the theory that Karl Marx himself was a Satanist.

Marxism is where we're headed, and all of these things - hatred of God, evolutionism, and devaluation of life, are intricately tied together:

* Darwinism (and other evolutionary theories to try to explain our existence without God) are put forth as "science" in our schools though they have not one single iota of scientific proof to support them. Thus they embrace support theories like Lyells' uniformitarianism. These theories are put forth as fact, since the alternative is based on "myth and superstition" from the "dark ages". The real reason: They don't want it to be true because they wish to live as they please without fear of divine retribution.

* Since man is just an animal, sexual promiscuity is portrayed as normal and even healthy. So is perversion - there's no God and therefore no absolute standard on which to judge anything perverse. (Of course, there's also, accordning to a consistent application of that worldview, no basis for transcendent truth, for the laws of logic or even mathematics. Is the number "1" an idea invented by man?)

* Abortionism is man's solution to problems resulting from the foregoing.

* Again, because man is just an animal and there is no God, quality of life supercedes sanctity of life. The elderly, the Terri Schiavos, and the mentally and physically handicapped are next on the chopping block: they are an inconvenience to other, healthier animals and an impediment to "group survival".

* What is most amazing: those opposed to God must borrow from Him the laws of logic to make their case against Him.

Be comforted, because in the end good will triumph over evil. Those who mock will be silenced. Those who kill with impunity will be shown for what they are. Those who call light darkness (the "Dark Ages") and darkness, light (the "Enlightenment), will be revealed as liars. God's Word and man's Divinely imprinted sense of justice all testify to this.

All of us must give an account before God, for every idle word spoken, for every secret deed, for every impure thought. And no, none of us are innocent, and that is the basis for the Gospel of grace.

Good post, Arthur!

I have a little bit different perspective on these present end times.
I try to remember that everything goes through God's hands first.
Evil can only achieve the heights allowed by God, and it can only enslave those who have not been wrapped and sealed in the power of His hand.
I don't think that evil is any more predominant in this nation than it has been; it's just more vocal, more open and attracts more attention.
God's people are fighting the biggest battle in mankind's history, and it's all according to God's plan.

There is a division taking place.
We see the ugly side of this division every day, but God's people are there; they're just not being seen.

God is not going to abandon us. He's getting us prepared for His Second Coming.
We have many battles to fight before Armageddon.

"TC, hope your lovely daughter is well...ya'll are still in my prayers."

Thank you, dear one.

Faith is walking with her walker and her cane.
She hasn't been in that dreaded wheelchair in two weeks, and I thank God for that miracle.
Thank you for your prayers.

God never abandons anyone; the choice is in our hands to accept God or (we) abandon Him. The first sentance fails God's gift of free will to us; we can't get it right so God abandons us. Maybe we ain't making the right choices. I'm trying!
