Leftists try to find another way to impact where we can build. You better hope they don't find endangered soil around your home/business or they will stop you from doing anything to your property.

There are only two things in the world that can be called "pure". Fire and dirt.

Hmmm... next time a Democrat Memo is leaked that contains deiscussing "digging up dirt" on republicans, we should claim it is "endangered dirt" and demand they stop harming the environment by doing so...

Wow. Now they can have the Endangered Dirt Act of 2003 and a Kyoto Treaty for dirt where countries can trade for dirt credits if they are killing too much dirt.

Who designated that this dirt is endangered and why does the government give them a penny to indulge in this nonsense?

Oh geez. They are running out of things to lie about. I know this is a good thing coz the brainwash masses will realize what kind of wackos these envirosocialisnazis are, but when I read the things they say I go into violent dry heaves and immediately loose 80 brain cells.

Or better yet: "On this dirt puked Ted Kennedy." Only $19.95. Guaranteed to still be 80 proof when reconstituted.
Makes an excellent gift. Get 10 or 12 for your friends.

This is a problem that has been neglected for far too long! Every day, as construction begins on new houses and buildings of all kinds, more and more innocent dirt is forced out of its natural habitat. Where will it go? How will it survive? Are we going to just stand by and watch dirt become extinct? Just yesterday, as I was driving home, some dirt blew across the road, and I barely managed to avoid hitting it! We must take immediate action so that dirt will still be there for our children, and our children's children. Do we want future generations to live in a world where dirt is something that is only found in a museum? We must act now before it's too late!

I work for a law firm, we once billed mucho $$$ over who would move a pile of dirt resulting from some excavation. (I feel I cannot say any more details). I also was forced to move from where I live due to contaminated soil (yet the trees grew, the opposums thrived), and the houses were torn down so the dirty dirt could be removed, and clean dirt substituted. But I have never heard of endangered dirt.

This proves that civilization as we have come to know it is a failure. These people are too comfortable, they have too much. They should be sent to the fields to till the soil, and not enshrine it. They should learn hunger and want, and that'll get them over themselves.

.....The researchers found 508 endangered soil series in the United States. Six states have more than half of their rare soil series in an endangered state, with Indiana leading the group at 82 percent, followed closely by Iowa at 81 percent. Most of the soil danger hotspots reside in the country's agricultural heartland......The researchers also found that 31 soils are effectively extinct because they have been nearly completely converted to agricultural or land use......

The Researchers = Ronald Amundson, professor of ecosystem sciences at UC Berkeley's College of Natural Resources

One thing I learned growing up in Indiana was that dirt and soil are two totally and completely different things. Obviously these knuckleheads haven't a clue.
