Unmitigated horses**t. These asses are just out to erase any vestiges of Christianity from our culture. Period. End of story.
If we're stupid enough to sit idly by and let them, then we get exactly what we deserve.
DAMN these people.

Next they'll be suing Charlie Brown.

Jewish students no longer feel safe or welcome" at the Elbert County Charter School in Elizabeth, Colo. I was raised as a Jew, and went to public school, which in those days enthusiastically celebrated Christmas. I always loved the traditions and symbols of Christmas -- especially the music.
The ACLU has no heart and no soul.

I'm so sick of these words, "safe," "welcome," and "comfortable" being used so smarmily as WEAPONS by the freakin' Left.
Makes me wanna BARF.

comply with the constitutional separation of church and state. It's really depressing when an organization of lawyers doesn't understand (or worse: lies about) the fundamentals of our Constitution. It ain't in there!
Why a letter from Thomas Jefferson (mentioning a wall between Church and State) has been elevated to a level co-equal with The Constitution is something I just can't understand.

I believe it won't be long before they petition the courts to force the government to no longer consider Christmas a federal holiday.

That's where they're headed, no doubt.

I'm glad I'm not the only one sick of the words you mentioned, especially "safe." The only time I want to hear that word is when it refers to a secure place to stash your money.

The ACLU is a hate group.
To: JohnHuang2
I wonder when a RICO statute can be enforced against these jerks for the nationwide campaign of intimidation, harrasements, lawsuits, etc...
To: Abundy
Still the best SP episode ever. Soon little kids will be doing plays byt Ney York minialist composer, Phillip Glass. "Happy, happy, happy... Everyone is happy...."
The ACLU needs an organizational enema.

Vote out the politicians who appoint the judges who dance to their tune.

The thing is, the ACLU has no legal case here and they must certainly know it. The courts have upheld the legality of singing Christmas songs, even religious songs, as long as they are part of an overall secular presentation.

Can you imagine a Christian being offended by Hanukah? "Oh no, David mention Yom Kippur. I'm FRIGHTENED!!!". The ACLU is a joke.

These asses are just out to erase any vestiges of Christianity from our cultureYep. Socialism runs best in a moral vacuum. We can't have people believing in a higher power, now can we?
Christmas is a LEGAL HOLIDAY!!!

And I was raised Catholic, but went to a pre-dominantly Jewish elementary school, and I *never* felt "unsafe" or threatened when Hannukah was celebrated.
