comply with the constitutional separation of church and state.

It's really depressing when an organization of lawyers doesn't understand (or worse: lies about) the fundamentals of our Constitution. It ain't in there!

Why a letter from Thomas Jefferson (mentioning a wall between Church and State) has been elevated to a level co-equal with The Constitution is something I just can't understand.

It's especially interesting to me that they will use other writing by the Founders to justify separation of church and state, but if we do the same for the 2nd amendment, those writings are somehow no longer relevant.
