For 15 years, the Neverland ranch has been Michael Jackson's retreat from the world. But now, the walls are literally closing in on him. His fortune, his reputation, and his freedom are now at stake.
Now that a warrant is out for his arrest on multiple counts of sex abuse against a minor, Jackson's secret world is being exposed. And "Extra" is learning more dark secrets from behind the gates of Neverland.
At a stunning news conference, Santa Barbara sheriffs said they are in talks with Jackson's lawyers and negotiating for the international superstar to turn himself in.
Jackson family attorney Brian Oxman reveals to "Extra" what police found when they raided Jacksons Neverland ranch. They found about one million pictures and thousands of videotapes, but Oxman insists that they are all innocent. He says, "They are looking at things which are the history of Michael Jackson. I dont really think they know what they are looking for."
But "Extra" has learned about something else that police may have found at Neverland-- a secret room hidden behind the star's walk-in closet. It is a place few have seen because in it are photographs of bare-chested children, babies, toys, games, and even an autographed picture of actor Macauley Culkin signed, "Don't leave me alone in the house."
Jackson has reportedly hired attorney Mark Geragos, who worked for of Winona Ryder and Scott Peterson, to represent him. Meantime, Jackson's people have complained that the raid was carried out on the same day that his greatest hits album "Number Ones" came out, insinuating it was a publicity ploy by police. But the DA shot that theory down.
The rumors have swirled around Jackson since 1993 when sexual allegation charges were reportedly settled out of court. Then came last year's infamous baby dangling incident, followed by Jackson's stunning admission in the controversial documentary hosted by Martin Bashir.
Lorenzo Benet, a staff correspondent for People magazine says that if Jackson loses custody of his three children, his ex-wife Debby Rowe might be the next logical person to take over.
Benet says, "Now Debbie has said in the past that she didn't really have these children to be a mother but legally she is the mother. So in that situation, I think that she would probably have first shot at getting the kids."
I'm sure we'll find out when all the Culkin boys are subpoenaed.

This man has gotten away with child molestation for 20 years. I remember reading about him sleeping with children in an article about his lifestyle way before the last charges 10 years ago.
No one made him simulate masturbation on the stage, no one made him brag to the world how he loved sleeping with children and nothing would be done about it, no one had him pay a woman to have children so he could have them to himself, no one told him to dangle a baby over the railing for his fans, no one told him to cover his children with veils when they are in the public, no one told him to pay off the last child with 20 million dollars, no one told him to keep a secret room with pictures of children without shirts on.
The only ones who have been set up is the American public into believing this is a child-like man. He is a conniving child molestor with plenty of money to hide his crimes and sometimes even flaunt his attitude by telling us he sleeps with young boys and pretending it is all innocent.
He has all the signs of a child molestor. He sets up his whole estate to entice children and pretends he does it for the kids.
I for one am glad he was finally hauled off to jail, but with people believing him, I'm beginning to believe he may very well get away with his crimes even though he flaunts it in our faces.
Oh well, it's all guessin' at this point. I just hope there is some way they can get those 3 kids out of his home. One would think that the local Child Welfare agents will be visiting the children-wherever they may be-very soon.
Wish the mother of the accuser would get charged with child endangerment, but suppose she made her own deal with LE.
