CNN reports that Jackson will be turning himself in within 30 minutes

From the latest information, it seems like Michael Jackson and Geragos had at least "6 months" warning that these charges were pending.

My point..wasn't there enough time for Jackson to get rid of the evidence?

Geragos has his attack dogs out in force. Jayne Weintraub has just told Pat Buchanan that there is a big difference between a "lewd act" and "a rape"...Ya know..it isn't like they are accusing MJ of RAPE..just a grown man maybe doing some inappropriate things around or with a twelve year old kid, so to speak. No real harm done...yada, yada, yada.

Rita said that a man named Mark Chappel (sp?) working for Jackson made tapes of the mother and boy saying all was well and nothing untoward ever done. This would have been during the early days of Geragos hiring on if I followed her correctly. It could be Jackson thought he was untouchable and didn't actually destroy evidence....But you're right, it seems to me if they knew the investigation was on---and they did per Rita---some destruction could have gone on.

I don't know where all these kids came from. But, it should be a condition of his bail that he can't be within 500' of ANY minor. Pedophiles, when they are under stress, are at their highest risk for committing sex crimes. MJ has probably never been more at risk for offending than he is now.

I just saw the preview for the segment on ET. It also had his two children in masks.

The more I see and hear of Michael, the more I think that he is mentally disturbed. I am sure that Geragos will spin his behavior as part of his horrible childhood, but he has to be taken away. Jail or a mental ward, either way he's just too dangerous.
