"You we're doing something right when the "european street" erupts like this."
They are estimating that 50,000 people showed for today's protest. Keep in mind that over 400,000 people turned out in London to protest the proposed bill to ban fox-hunting last year. So, eight times more people want to hunt foxes than want Bush to leave. I think I can live with those numbers.

Are did you just want someone to talk to?

You can SHOW disrespect. However...disrespected is NOT a verb. Thank you! That's one of my pet peeves. :-)

in wide usage among all races, below age 25-30 or so.The citizenship of which I speak is cerebral, not geographic. It's yet another sign indicating the depth of leftist pop culture metastases.

I wasn't aware that there were statues of Bush anywhere.
What a lame post!
Might you mean an effigy? If so, who cares what sandmaggots do for amusement?

The political left have completely abandoned logic, intellect and their ideals. They advocate nothing. They can only direct rage towards anyone who dares disagree with their vision of a better world. They are the most hateful, contemptible lot to have burdened the political arena since the facists were defeated in Europe.

If your whole family is Democrats, except for little Mary. She got to readin'.

I'll take "diss" over improper usage of "it's"/"its", "there"/"their"/"they're", "were"/"where"/"we're", "here"/"hear", and/or "couldn't care less" anyday. And these are English words with presumably long histories!
That said, lighten up a little. Slang can be fun.

This is such BS. There was gonna be a million people. They were gonna run Bush out of the country. The truth is they're all a bunch of mice. The normal British people (the huge majority) are soooo embarassed by this circus.(Fox)

...disrespected is NOT a verb. Memo to myself.
Never trust Puppage with English grammar and usage.
Not only disrespected is a verb, but also dis is English.

That's great. Watching this spoof is like watching the freaks at a gay parade, and it's a free circus, too! LOL.
Sniff sniff...Republican landslide.
To: Skip Ripley
I have seen both political parties go too far and show intolerance for opposing views.
The Left has the problem of a bad economy and not knowing how to regain the majority....
The loss of the house in 94 due to overreaching on too many issues that took a far left position cost the Dems the House, the Senate, and many switches... What would be more accurate is that the Democrats and the Left have not had many new ideas that could not be or have not been taken by the majority....
The conservatives have made a great deal of progress simply because everyone wants new ideas and the conservatives have had the political will and power to act on their ideas...
Contract with America, Welfare to Work, and many other ideas have move the majority of the country from center left to center right...
And conservatives have the megaphone...
Left media outlets have lost significant market share...
Finger pointing happens on both sides... Just look at the postings on this forum....

Watching this spoof is like watching the freaks at a gay parade, and it's a free circus, too! LOL. Usually I'm lighthearted about these leftist kooks and fellow travelers.
Nevertheless, after reading about British and Turkish citizens being bombed to pieces by al Qaida today, this demonstration seems inappropriate.
To: dwd1
It's not a question of finger pointing,it's a question of ideas or the lack thereof. The Left brings nothing to the table other than the contrarian view. They have lost political power and influence in this country because of it.
People will never follow leadership that attempts to lead by simply "not being the other guy".
To: usadave; Kay
In my military unit, getting an award was called 'getting props'.
It was used to denote respect or honors.
But I have heard it used in slightly different ways that defy an exacting explanation.
