WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) Authorities are investigating whether Rush Limbaugh, already reeling from drug problems and his expulsion from ESPN, may have driven his vehicle just below the posted speed limits on numerous occasions, a law enforcement source who spoke on condition of anonymity said Wednesday.
As long as four years ago, local law enforcement manning Florida DUI checkpoints and 'speed traps' repeatedly clocked the ultraconservative demagogue at anywhere from one to six miles per hour below the applicable speed limits. Unconfirmed reports indicate that Limbaugh was also seen proceeding through intersections while traffic lights were yellow. One officer who declined to be named told the AP that he had personally observed Limbaugh cruising at 43 in a 45 MPH zone. No charges were filed at that time.
Critics contend that Limbaugh drove very close to the speed limit on at least 30 or 40 occasions, most likely with the deliberate intent of getting to his destination while avoiding tickets for speeding.
Limbaugh's attorney, Roy Black, did not return a phone call for comment Wednesday.

Are you sure it's Rush who is your hero and not Peter Jennings and the crew at ABC??? Otherwise, why are you unquestioningly taking their "reporting" at face value, and you don't appear to have even heard Rush's comments on the subject?
I fail to see anything indicating a "reasonable mind" when you start believing the worst about your so-called hero before you even have all of the facts...and especially in light of the HUGE fact that Rush has been a target for destruction by those on the left since he hit the nat'l scene. If you are sincere about Rush being your hero, I'd advise that you chill out, give Rush the benefit of the doubt, and wait for facts instead of heeding speculation and blatant propaganda. If not, you are in for a long, hard, bumpy and depressing ride, because the people you seem to be listening to instead of Rush are NOT going to stop trying to destroy him, and more now than ever since they have found what they perceive as a chink in the armor.

I think it was the bank that committed the crime by failing to report the multiple withdrawals.

Snerdly was at the Freeper Inaguration Ball. Great guy.

That's nothing. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Rush actually go through the express lane at the supermarket with MORE than 15 items. Scandalous!! Well, it depends on the items. I maintain that a 6-pack is actually one item (quantity 6), not 6 separate items. So, Rush may have been OK after all.
