My Countrymen, My Enemy

Recently, a Western Washington University student by the name of Paul Douglas Revak pleaded guilty to the charge of trying to obtain explosives. Revak, a self-proclaimed anarchist, apparently grew distressed over the Bush administrations handling of Iraq. Frustrated, Revak decided to enact his own policy initiative. Declaring war against the government, Revak plotted to bomb the U.S. Coast Guard station in Bellingham, and allegedly discussed with students the possibility of bombing other military installations such as the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station and the Washington Air National Guard. Shockingly, the arrest of a possible terrorist in our midst received little to no attention from the media as a whole.....

Okay what we have here is a member of the left getting set to start the open hosilities. The simple fact is this is one of the early rumblings of armed action from the left of open hostilities. This thread IMHO definitely rates a CWII ping

I'd sure like to run an op on him. Maybe make him a dim-witted self-tester of his own exploding collar device.

I dont think Paul has a mean bone in his body. I think he was expressing his frustration with how the administration was dealing with the Iraq situation and got a little carried away. So says the federal public defender for Revak, Thomas Hillier. Listen to this crap? Hello you moron, are you paying attention? This guy clearly indicated his intentions and to have him home by Christmas will only energize him and encourge him to continue in his terror attempts.
He is one of the anarchists in the black masks according to the article. Do people really think these people are harmless? They better start thinking again and wake up to the very real truth that we have enemies both foreign and domestic who are determined to bring this nation down. It is not just frustration with the war on Iraq, it is an ideology that we pretend has passed away, MARXISM! The revolution has begun.

When I see these black masked anarchist creeps marching in parades, in the country that gave them the freedom to preach the destruction of that country, I think "boy, they sure are bunched up very nicely." Sure seems like a waste, to have them free to disperse and commit acts of terrorism.

I wonder how expression of my frustration with terrorists and excuse makers like this would be received.

"Patience." Aye-aye, sir. I'm reminded of the words of Sun Tzu: "He who waits by the river long enough will see the body of his enemy float by".

Interesting.
This guy is obviously of the liberal persuasion and has decided the time has come for action to take the place of words. The more 'conservative' subscribers here have occasionally suggested similar actions in response to liberal legislation or judicial decisions. Sure, he had bought some stuff and kept a few maps and booklets on hand, purportedly so he could bomb federal facilities, but how many of us 'gun nuts' have books or pamphlets of instructions for the manufacture of explosives or full-automatic weapons?
Mind you, I'm not excusing him or suggesting that he's anything else but a terrorist, but should the next few years brings us a repressive liberal government, owning those items would convince the authorities that we're the terrorists.
