Jackson bail for Multiple Child Molestation set at $3,000,000!!! (Live Thread)

Posted on 11/19/2003 6:35:37 AM PST by Hillary's Lovely Legs

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Police who searched Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch amid allegations of child molestation were armed with an arrest warrant for the pop icon, NBC television said.

The network cited "many sources" as having seen the arrest warrant for Jackson when authorities swooped down on his ranch near Santa Barbara, California, on Tuesday.

The search, apparently for evidence related to child abuse allegations, continued overnight into Wednesday, NBC said.

Police said they would announce details of the search at 11:00 am (1900 GMT) Wednesday.

Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxfam confirmed reports that the raid was sparked by new child abuse allegations against the 45-year-old father of three.

"The search warrant that was served at Neverland ranch early yesterday morning indicated that there was a 12-year-old boy who was a complaining witness concerning sexual molestation accusations," Oxfam told NBC.

"We don't know the identity of the child, we don't know the specifics of the accusations, and to all intents and purposes, we simply are investigating this and we do not know what it is all about at this point," he added.

The highly publicized swoop -- which took place while Jackson was in Las Vegas, Nevada -- reignited suspicions that have been swirling around Jackson since he was accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy 10 years ago.

Between 60 and 70 investigators armed with a search warrant flooded the sprawling estate near Santa Barbara at 8:30 am (1630 GMT) Tuesday, Senior Sheriff's Deputy Tim Gracey told AFP.

The raid coincided with Jackson's release of "Number One," his first album since "Invincible" flopped last year.

If Jackson is watching the press conference, they are encouraging to turn himself in.

HUH? WTF? Are these guys the keystone cops or what? If they are in contact with his attorney perhaps they should ask him.

Cochran was asked by Larry King last night if he'd represent Jackson and he said that, after defending P.Diddy he vowed he wouldn't do anymore criminal cases.

Jacko Song About D.A. May Haunt Him Now

Will a song from Michael Jackson's HIStory album come back to haunt him now?

AP
Michael Jackson
Jackson fans have always known that "D.S.," a track on HIStory but certainly not included on the new Jackson greatest hits album, was a pointed reference to Santa Barbara District Attorney Thomas W. Sneddon Jr.

Sneddon, who led the investigation into allegations that Jackson molested a 13-year-old boy in 1993, is still on the case today and said to be more eager than ever to "get" Jackson.

In the song, Jackson actually appears to call out the name Tom Sneddon, even though the lyric sheet says the name is "Dom Sheldon." Sneddon is no doubt even angrier for the baiting in the song, which implies he is a member of the KKK and has no social life.

The line that may really come back to haunt Michael is "He didn't do half what he say." Now Sneddon is said to be ready to do twice what he say, and more, with the new case looming over Jackson.

These are the lyrics that appear on the HIStory album:

"DOM SHELDON"

They wanna get my a**
Dead or alive
You know he really tried to take me
Down by surprise
I bet he missioned with the CIA
He don't do half what he say

Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man

He out shock in every single way
He'll stop at nothing just to get his political say
He think he bad cause he's BSTA
I bet he never had a social life anyway
You think he brother with the KKK?
I know his mother never taught him right anyway
He want your vote just to remain DA.
He don't do half what he say

Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man

Dom S. Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man

Does he send letters to the FBI?
Did he say to either do it or die?

Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man

Dom S. Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man
Dom Sheldon is a cold man

Dom S. Sheldon is a cold man.

I wonder if he will commit suicide rather than surrender...

My thought exactly.. If he is taken into custody, wait about 12 hours, then watch every move he makes. This person has been living in a Never, Neverland his entire life. When the reality hits him and the drugs wear off, he can't possibly understand any extended period of time without comfort or freedom, let alone a 6' X 10' cell..

After a month or two in jail would Jackson turn back into a black man from the white women he currently is?

Now that was totally uncalled for. Calling him a white woman is an insult to all whites and to all women. He's not a white woman, he's an albino eunic.

He'll post bail and won't see a cell right now. I guess his sureender is taking so long bcause he's atempting to withdraw the 3 million in cash, in less than 10,000 withdrawals!

"No. But I have slept in a bed with many children."

Yeah, you know, I hate to prejudge these kind of things, but this guy has been like a walking time bomb. It's entirely possible that a judge may feel it's too dangerous to leave him free on bail.

The incident several years ago must have impressed upon him the importance of waiting until partners are eighteen, but I guess that just doesn't work for him. It's a shame if all is as it seems.

Other victims. Eewww...

Can they really believe he'll turn himself in? Or that he's watching? He is an absolute flight risk. I just hope he gets on one plane (back to LA) and his kids get on another to anywhere else. They are among the other victims here and they are around him 24/7, how can they not have been removed from him sooner? Anyone who watched the 'special' has to be thinking that.

And, SHAME on any parent, between 1993 and 2003, for knowingly subjecting any minor male child of theirs to the clutches of that fiend...knowing what was out there in the public realm, the hush money on the first case, the MJ justifications for 'cuddling' with young boys, etc. ad-in finitum. There is blame to go in that direction, too.

Charges haven't been filed yet, but will be filed shortly.

The Jackson estate was videotaped inside and out.

The victim will be required to testify even if there is a civil settlement in the case.

So far, there is no civil case and none is expected.

Mega dittoes!!!

There should be some arrests forthcoming. Let's start with any parent who repeatedly brought there kid to this "playhouse" for child endangerment. Then we can move on the Jackson's aides or pimps who provided him with access to children for conspiracy.

Unless he had posters all over depicting under age pornography I wonder why all the videotaping.

My worry is that Michael Jackson may try to leave this country on a private jet and end up in another country.

He'll be staying with Roman Polanski...
